  1. I'm watching the replay as well. In the flesh I felt like White's kicking was decent, but not great. I haven't seen him miss a target yet. It'll make us a more attractive destination too. We said 7 wins at the top of this season. We did it. We said finals for next year. Not saying we'll get there, but we're not far off at least pushing it. A year or two and we will be playing finals. We've got the premier young KPF in the league and a couple of beauties in Brayshaw and Salem. Hoping Petracca can deliver on his promise too. Great point this. Dunn and Salem off half back. That'd be nice.
  2. There was a moment in the second or fourth quarter, where he turned into the corridor, as that's where a lot of his options were. He then turned back towards the boundary and kicked to a one-on-one that a Melbourne bloke was never going to win, but just needed to kill over the line for the reset. I was really impressed with the maturity shown here. Good signs. Well, it was Wallace umpiring, so figures. He's hopeless.
  3. Thought he was incredibly ordinary for the first half. Worked himself into the game after half time, but was so-so for mine. Calling him a champion of the game is beyond laughable.
  4. Did ue mention any re-signing?
  5. No defensive game at all. Too soft in the contest, but he hand a big hand in the win today.
  6. Stretchy's best game. Made good decisions, tackled ferociously, kicked it well and got involved. His work rate was terrific.
  7. Completely agree with this, mate. His decision-making and disposal is so important to our back six. Would love to recruit Whitfield and McKenzie to release Salem into the midfield though.
  8. Disagree that they're vying for the same spot. ANB is a tough inside midfield that will play mostly forward for the first two or three years. Harmes showed some terrific toughness today that I hadn't seen from him before, but think he'll play more forward or on a wing.
  9. Not everyone. They never really looked like it today. We were on top from the opening bounce. Gawn was probably the matchwinner. Amazing what taps to advantage do for a team. We made them look slow today.
  10. Has turned it over a few times. At least he is getting it.
  11. Jones and Grimes costing us goals. The leadership stinks.
  12. I think we're a big chance. No Mumford tips the scales in our favour.
  13. Pretty sure Patton supported Melbourne.
  14. And if they replied to them, it'd make them look pretty amateur, IMO.
  15. Lol. Moloney was never an A grader. He was a downhill skiing B grader.
  16. An embarrassment of riches up there. Glad at least, to see Treloar going home. The more their talent is dispersed across the league, the less threatening they become. The same with Gold Coast.
  17. With McCarthy and Tomlinson ahead of him and injuries included, I wonder if we could get him cheaper?
  18. I note Jon Patton's not getting a game. MFC supporter as a kid, was on the rise before his injury. Big lad. Does anyone think he'd be a good foil for Hogan?
  19. I reckon it might be pushing 12 list changes now. I was originally expecting between 8-10.
  20. Who's linking Howe to GC, btw, Red?
  21. Would love Zac Smith and Bennell. Is Whitfield on the outer enough for you?
  22. Still reckon we'll get Prestia and reckon we might get Lynch too. I've no doubt Roos and co are targeting blank flankers with skill that have the versatility to also push into the midfield.
  23. I reckon 3 are pretty likely too.
  24. Lynch, Prestia, McKenzie and Whitfield would do me nicely. Dreamworld, I'd add Bennell. Second rounder on Lynch. First rounder on Prestia. Future second rounder on McKenzie. Future first rounder on Bennell. Howe for Whitfield.
  25. Reckon Hogan will stay put for the forseeable future. He'll be with us until at least 2020, IMO. If we can have a sustained period of success anywhere during that time, he'll remain a demon for life. I get that we need to win games and climb the ladder to retain him, but we'll be knocking on the door of the 8 next year, in his second full season, and he'll be playing finals by his third season. He'd take that I reckon.
