If the infraction notices are being adhered to they wouldn't be allowed to attend training as per Ahmed Saad. So I don't see how there could be any backdating as they haven't been operating under the infraction notice to date....

Who is shaping as a surprise packet for Melbourne in 2015?
jnrmac replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
I think its a stretch to say he can't kick 40 goals unless our midfield is the same as Carltons. I also think we will see a dramatic improvement in our midfield performance. We were ahead in 10 games in the last quarter in 2014. We weren't that far off winning quite a few more games. We are fitter this year, our game plan/ball movement from training looks like it has more purpose and have more players available at this stage than we did last year. ANd hopeflly we will have some decent big bodied fwds for Jeff to run around. So don't put words in my mouth. When I say I will be happy but not surprised thats what I mean. -

I understand your point but I don't buy it as a given. Tyson had no pre-season either. Vince has done everything but the contact stuff. He is a senior player and should have a fine year -

If only he gets a pre-season.... -

That would hardly be a surprise given he has kicked 40 or over in 3 seasons.... -

Oh yes the Golden Ticket for non-performance. BBP is awarding it early....FMD Vince BTW has had a shoulder reco/op. He can run and has been running,. He hasn't joined in full contact drills for obvious reasons -
When running a programme as 'cutting edge' as this he should have been all over it. Instead he says he wrote a memo that was never received (dog ate my homework) and thousands of injections were carried out at a clinic across the road supposedly under his watch. Yeah I reckon he should be deregistered..
-
That must make it really difficult with only half a brain as well....
-
Right, so Doc Reid should be deregistered.

The court case was open to the public and reported on. So there is quite a deal of information about it. It does seem that Jeff and Feral were not the agitators. It would surprise me if those two received a meaningful sentence.

He talked about 'his circles'. What would you know about his circles?

It was a throw away line but its actually true as I understand it. An ex Coll player told me he became increasingly eratic, had his favourites and that the players believed his game plan was out of touch and a bit mindless. The Buckley scenario changed him quite significantly and his demeanor and patience etc were well and truly tested. As you have seen from his media performances he has lost the plot quite a bit. Is coaching to prove Eddie wrong and I believe he isn't as good as his record on the face of it suggests. He won two flags with a virtual state side. Any muppet could have done that. He was at Collingwood 12yrs abefore he won a flag - somewhat luckily. ad he not won that flag his record would be very average for a 2 time premiership coach. he isn't a patch on clarkson. So yes i was being flippant but Mark neeld came from the same mould as well you know

The kennel is in more ***** than a Werribee duck....

Nah The bought into the Kool aid story. 'Everyone's doing it but we are going to do it better' They signed waivers and apparently NOT ONE player checked with anyone outside the club including ASADA etc. Not believeable. Fails the sniff test. Guilty. Goodbye.

No probs. I have been reading closely about Garland because I have been critical of his 2014 - many excuse it on the 'no pre-season' argument. Will be watching his performance closely this year. Needs to stand up and lead. -

Not sure why you say Garland. Has done every session from what I have read. Had a poor 2014 and needs to make amends. The reports I have read say he is training very well.. -
Malthouse. They don't like him.

INteresting They seem to be simulating game time in training. Continuous running. Drill after drill. Makes sense to me... -
One of my favourite words.

I guess it will be interesting to see whether the 'miracle cure' of a new club is enought to help him deal with another soft tissue injury.

How depressing....

The AFL has no part in these proceedings. So exactly how has the AFL been hurting other clubs? A very uninformed comment.

We have Lumumba. A reliable, solid bodied premiership backman. As much as I liked Mitch's best football, there wasn't much of it. We have done well from this debacle.
