  1. Oscar has reduced his clangers, Salem has been a lot better the past two weeks, Harmes is playing a role each week and Brayshaw is having issues. I suspect right foot but its only a guess. But 2019 is a pretty low benchmark. They should all be well above.
  2. Gus is playing like he is getting a painkilling jab to his right foot. Shanks a lot of kicks on the right but seemed to get better as the game wore on. And he does seem to kick a lot on his left at which he is quite proficient
  3. Oscar also had a brayshaw-esq mis-kick on the near boundary in the 3rd qtr. Ball dribbled along the ground after he failed to hit Harmes I think it was.. Don't get me wrong, he played a good game but that was definitely a 'blight' as you called it.
  4. They also 'stole' Darren Jarman who we drafted and refused to come. Hawthorn got him a year later in a pre-arranged deal.
  5. 6 Gawn 5 Trac 4 Oliver 3 Viney 2 Langdon 1 Hibberd
  6. Me too. Just gathers useless stats like Cotchin used to do. Around the back, give and go. Doesn't do much damage at all.
  7. He has slowed down his thought process that used to run a mile ahead of his body.
  8. You're clearly a hard marker. Bennell's 20m bullet handball for a goal was outstanding.
  9. What can you expect when umps are the judge?
  10. Having Weed and LJ in the fwd line gus us that luxury...
  11. I think he has Nev playing a different role as well with Lockhart doing the locking down. Nev is a bit freer to do creative things and be a 'general' The backline are clearly working better together.
  12. 15 marks inside 50 19 contested marks Amazing
  13. 3-0 with Bennell Bennell has never lost a regular season game in a Melbourne jumper.
  14. Complete team performance
  15. Langdon has been terrific
  16. Can't remember the last time we took 10 contested marks in a match let alone in a half. Amazing
  17. Interesting how much confidence affects the ability to hit targets Players are running fwd off the ball making targets. Tackling ferociously. Pressure is immense. Completely shut the hawks game down. Something has clicked. When we play like this you question where it has been for 18mnths Let's finish this off dees
  18. Recurring calf kept him to maybe 3 games last year? and none this year. I think he has just started back full training but could be wrong...
  19. He should have been retired 5 years ago, He's a festering joke. No idea about the game. And we have no interest in listening to him prattle on about carp. Well commentated Dennis, I mean WTF even is that? Thanks Duck, Lingy. He's a fawning sychophant.
  20. OK thx I thought I read CHF but didn't really pay too much attention!
  21. Against Richmond Kossie flew high over a Melbourne player(!) and they gave a free to Richmond for an unrealistic attempt! Outrageous.
  22. Haven't they been using McEvoy at CHF? That potentially changes our defensive set up...
  23. I particularly like the coach pre game: "we haven't listened to anyone outside our 4 walls this week" "we don't listen to noise" And post match: 'we knew what everyone was saying and we've shut them up for at least a week' 'the heat was really on this week and we responded' LOL
  24. Oscar played well. Lets hope he has turned the corner.
