GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs Adelaide
2 of the last 3 Adelaide games they have failed to kick 40 points. Against our defence I suspect this won't change today Not sure why people think we will lose this.

Alex Neal-Bullen
What is interesting is how he has become so much more composed and certain with ball in had. Has always had elite endurance and could get to the right spots but was frustrating as he turned the ball over or fumbled so often Credit to him that he has persevered and improved so much. Even his goal kicking now is tremendous. Well done ANB.

Perhaps the bake was needed. It was certainly justified.

Reward the Ball Winner or Tackler
The coaches should have very limited say in whats good for the game. They are not always aligned in their interests. And they will coach to whatever rules are put in place. The same goes for Broadcasters like channel 7.

Reward the Ball Winner or Tackler
Virtually every decision since about 1980 was about speeding up the game for TV and positional football as you call it basically died. It is all about the interchange. Players are fitter, running for longer and this creates more congestion If you want to remove congestion keep reducing the interchange. Simples.

Oppo Analysis
Great idea. I havent seen Adelaide once this year. Was perusing their big footy site and didn't get much intel on howthey play etc. It was mostly about how they play 1 KD short. That may not work out well for them this week. Also how most didn't want Tex rushed back inti the side this week. Woud be interested in oppo research

Reward the Ball Winner or Tackler
Watch our game against the Swans. They literally dropped the ball as soon as they were tackled. As if they were coached to do it. That is a bastardised version of the ball 'spilling free in a tackle.' Cut down on this and we go a fair way to resolving the issue.

Why Oliver is More Dangerous Than You Think
I'd love to see his second half or last qtr stats, He has great stamina and is usually still running full tilt. And he is ultra competitive. Very impressive.

Why Oliver is More Dangerous Than You Think
Bob Pratt kicked 150 goals from 21 games, averaged 4.3g per game over his career and missed 6 seasons because of World War 2. Criminally under-rated.

CHANGES: Rd 10 vs Adelaide
Sorry but that is bunk.. Jacksons competitiveness in the air is outstanding. He is not clunking his marks yet but neither has Weid ever done that except from memory in that final against Geelong.

GAMEDAY: Rd 09 vs Carlton
Article in the little paper where Mick Malthouse compares Carltons list to Melbournes list and saying they are very similar. He then goes on to compare the stats of a number of players including comparing Pickett with Marc Murphy suggesting Pickett's only look better because we are winning. Seriously. Someone should take away his crayon.

GAMEDAY: Rd 09 vs Carlton
A little nervous about the pasting Carlton have received this week from the media. They will likely come out fired up. But I just watched the replay fo Carlton v the Dogs and Carlton are really poor without the ball. The Dogs run in front of the ball a lot as they expect their mids to win it. That makes them really vulnerable to turnover but Carlton simply couldn't put enough pressure on them when the whips were cracking. Cripps is playing injured and there isn't much there other than McKay to worry us. Loking forward to us putting 4 good quarters together for once this year....
