  1. We might get 10,000 to the game next week.
  2. True but at the same time, you have to ask why our players seem to playing with little heart. I think that is the question that needs to be answered. I am not sure anyone at the club really wants to answer it. Stynes deflection of the players and Greeny needing to lift is obvious. But is the leadership within the coaching staff strong enough or respected enough to get the players to lift?
  3. But even so, it is generally a symptom of greater problems. I am sure that Collingwood players can work hard because they know the plan and know what they are supposed to be doing. Equally, I am sure that probably practice these things at training. It is upto the coach to make sure everyone is playing to the same intensity and doing the same thing. Compare essendon last year to this year, lazy and not motivated last year, switched on this year. The only thing that has changed there is the coach.
  4. Haven't seen any game plans - nobody else can see it. We are a joke to most clubs. And if there is a game plan somewhere to be seeen, I highly doubt that it will get anywhere near a premiership. Time for a changes, time for a hard progressive coach. Surely the board should meet and request Dean Bailey to attend and explain what he is trying to achieve. It is purely economical. If we keep going along this track, we will end up losing more financially then paying of a sacked coach and employing a new one.
  5. Failure may to excute the game plan may mean there isn't one. Ever thought of that. Anyway, the coach must take responsibility. If players don't carry out the game plan, they get the chop. We have had the same side for the past two games.
  6. That is if progress has been made to throw away. That is the question! You can't be seriously happy with where we are. Poor disposal, half-hearted efforts, lack of accountability. Four years is along time for a coach to have achieved very little in terms of a game plan.
  7. All players have basic skills - otherwise they wouldn't have been recruited in the first place. The poor errors result from a lack of plan, nobody knows what the other players are doing. The only basics that Bailey should be concentrating on are coaching basics.
  8. Martin made way too many errors last night but Dunn was the worst.
  9. Not hype, it is nothingness. We are niether better than last year and perhaps worse. People can go on all day about how young we are but in reality, we have many of the same players who have now been on the list for some years still playing the same way. I think we may have overrated our coach. You will never win if you can't get the basic structure right. I don't think anyone here thought we would be major players come september but most expected to see some improvement - maybe some greater tatical nous from Bailey. All we are seeing is a wasted year. All the players seem either lost or missing any desire.
  10. I wonder if ND could have taken us the next step if we had AMII park back then. Makes you think. Alarm Bells must be ringing. They were for me during the pre-season. We just don't look well coached - sloppy, no structure, lack of drills. Dean Bailey should be brought up to the board and explain why he should be the senior coach.
  11. Do you kids think everying can be solved with a facebook page. The clueless generation. I still think bailey should either step down or get pushed.
  12. Can I have them? Or atleast give me a treasure map! Please
  13. I'd like to see Ricky in the team. Not like he has had much of a go. Sub round 1 and then didn't see much of it against the dawkes. Probably because we were being smashed in the middle.
  14. I think it is pretty sad that the club who lost the most players to both wars is forced to have a bye on Anzac weekend
  15. He'd want to start winning a few more games against real opposition. might want to consider getting a game plan
  16. A better game plan would fix it up. Tappscott kicks to opposition occured in the hawthron game when all he had to kick to was a wall.
  17. Davey is rubbish at the moment. Needs a spell in the seconds.
  18. Every player recruited knows the skills and basic game plan in a footy match. I am sure a more complexed game plan isn't going to tax them too much. For me, there is a lack of structure and secondly, just not working hard enough off the ball. A coach should be onto that in a big way
  19. And how many times did the opposition get back in defense and rebound ointo the forwardline. As a tactic, noe just cannot really understand what Bailey is trying to achieve except a flogging every week.
  20. Well he was the captain at the time probably
  21. It is widely considered arround the traps in the AFL that we have the worst player development. I think most are right. Hopefully Todd Viney can change this.
  22. Seriously, think about it, would you throw three or four years of development away to play in a side that is going to be crap. Who good are the GSW going to have. You only have to look at Ablett (who is a seasoned player) and the Gold coast to realise it would be a monumental stuff up.
  23. Been trying to find the stats on gold coast midfield, Ablett and Ristcheli are their main movers. If we can win that areas, we should be able to score more heavily. Love to see Grimes play onball. I wouldn't mind going the same Route Carlton went, big down forward. Surely petterd will get a game in his home town. Wona will be better for the run. I reckon our defense will have a field day however. If Rivers can continue on from his last match and Frawley will improve.
