In 1990 I was flying from Darwin back to Melbourne. Yeah the pilot was giving score updates but the best experience possible for a bombers pies GF. This year im working, so another great excuse to not watch a cats pies GF... I was upset initially with the roster - now happy

NON-MFC: Finals Week 01
2 flops 2 frees in the goals square. 140m away from the play and after the goal so not in play. That is deadset the worst case of overumpiring I have ever seen

Trade Targets
Mitch Lewis squeezed out of the 23 for Hawthorn's first final. Injury prone sure, would be a walk up start for us fit though. At 26 could he get the body right for a late career bloom

The Rowan Marshall Thread

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Just watched the Caro clip. She is 100% speaking directly for Brendan Gale. She has black amd yellow blood running through her veins from growing up at punt road. Has a long ongoing working relationship with the ex Tiger player and ceo in Gale. There doesn't appear any other agenda than her going into bat to get Brendan his man and stop him from going to Melbourne, regardless of what it actually means for Bucks - waiting another year to start, will be 5 years minimum to tast some success, needs to move state and anything else I can't think of.

AFLW and Casey Fields - what's the plan?
Thoroughly enjoyed going to Vic Park on the weekend - last time I was there for a game of footy, was absolutely terrified (mind you i was a young teenager in the 80s...) Great venue and close our inner school east suburban roots. Its a long way to casey from Malvern... Only negative was not enough food vendors. The couple of food trucks there had lines a mile long - props to the perogi man, his offsider caĺed in sick so was on his own, made an awesome Zapikankie! If they could make use of the old vfl and vfa grounds as a regular option it would make it more special

CASEY: Elimination Final vs Williamstown
When you ask Google ai Yes, you can nominate for a father-son spot a second time if you don't get picked up, but you will need to renominate for the current year's draft because AFL Draft nominations are valid for only one year. If you are not selected by the club in the first year you nominate, you have the option to re-enter the draft process in the following year by renominating.

CASEY: Elimination Final vs Williamstown
I think you're correct - if he nominates again hes eligible. Would only be ineligible if listed lo any other AFL club - which he hasnt

Training Ground?
Wonderful news. The new option being sprouted for the guineas carpark directly opposite the train station will be fantastic for fan access - retail/social/dining hub immediately comes to mind there.

I guess it means that the club can get better trade value as he is now contracted and the player also has some collateral as a contract means he gets paid his value if a trade falls through - can't get shafted as a last minute minimum value contract.- Farewell Judd McVee

Is there a world where everyone is correct here. I'm wondering if perhaps he did sign, but it hasn't been announced as he is leaving on an NBA style 'sign and trade' deal 🤔 Not sure how that works for the Ghosty and Fence bet though. Nil all draw.- 2025 All Australian
