Not many teams do have champions. I don't regard Pavlich as a match-winner just yet..he doesnt quite have the ability to turn a match on its head like a jono brown or even an aker a few years ago. Hird and Buckley are way past their peak and are nothing more than good players anymore. And you are confusing the word 'produce' and 'draft'. If there is anyone to blame, you should look at our recruiting manager for not picking up a superstar on draft day. 5 years down the track, you will be complaining Yze_Magic that Petterd and Frawley are not superstars whereas I will be stoked if they turn out to be potential all-australians. And theres no doubt Neitz is a superstar...whilst he is past his days...he is still on our list and if ur going to count hirds than u have to count neitz. Pavlich has to learn how to tackle first before he can belong on that list if you ask me. Its a blemish on his game..take notice next time he plays...he doesnt know how to.

davey and robbo might have some things to say about that. so many people just expect us to win games..without key personel it makes it bloody difficult but there have been positives. I think Dunn has showed that he can play on a wing, petterd has been fantastic so far, sylvia has kicked 2 bags of 3, Miller has kicked a career high 7 goals and its only round 9 and Newton has been playing well in the VFL.

we give miller the benefit of the doubt. Godfrey has shown alot more in my opinion.

Pick 4, 20, 36 would be our first 3 picks if we came as low as 13th like some people have said. Those picks are pretty good but you need to trade a few players to make sure that you have alot more selections in the top 20. i.e. Pick 4, 12,18,20,36. Something like that. This would involves off-loading the likes of Green or someone like this as well as someone else.

Wrong. I don't think Jolly and Armstrong have excelled at all. Armstrong is a fringe player at best for west coast and there's a fair chance he will get dropped when cousins, fletcher etc. come back into the team. As for Jolly, he just shares the ruck load with everitt. It is Scott Thompson woh we let go for barely nothing.

I dont see the point in guessing the teams. Everyones guesses are just as likely(or unlikely) as everyone elses.

we wont come last. but if we keep this up a top 3 or 4 draft pick beckons. I would like someone with a normal kicking action, unlike Jones and Bate.

Neaves is giving away about 7cm in the ruck though.lol. Mckinnon at 206cm and freakishly agile whereas Neaves is shorter but plays more bash n crash. should be interesting.

There has been ridiculous talk that clubs are tanking for Chris Judd. Of course they are only kidding around but am i the only one that would not want to give away a top 3 pick(in the worst case scenario) for Chris Judd? I mean he is a great player, but he isnt even the clear-cut best player in the competition. Many people would put Daniel Kerr and Jono Brown as more influential players. Plus, we would get 4 seasons more service out of a youngster because they are 4 years younger than judd. plus, I dont think we are in our premiership window so I edont see why we would throw away kids for judd. p.s. this is all worse case scenario..i know its only round 4!

Does anyone think that the new fitness guy(i've forgotten his name) has got something to do with the amount of injuries we have at the moment? He has had a loooooooong history of injuries with other clubs that he has worked with in the past. Even if he is just bad luck, i say we give him the flick.

First of all, i have been saying for years that Brad Green is most valuable close to goal. Hopefully someone listens and decides to play him there. Secondly, I have also been saying that Bate is not fast. His first 15 steps are as slow as a turtle and whenever he is in a contested situation he's like a giraffe on ice always falling over. Thirdly, I have also said that Godfrey is not as bad as alot of you people say he is. He goes long almost everytime and goes harder than anyone at the club. his kicking is fine. Now i'm not too sure whether this concept is too difficult for some of u to understand but when yu have the ball and you are not 100% who or where to kick it...KICK IT FRICKEN LONG! That way, if u dont hit the target..the footy is still 60metres down the ground. Jeff White did it yesterday which resulted in a goal to prismall and Daniel Bell is a common offender.

Alot of people on this site know that im extremely harsh on Brad Miller and im not changing my stance on him..but as for Godfrey I dont think he is as bad as people make him out to be. His kicking is far from bad, he kicked 2 goals on the weekend and his tackling is first rate. as is his endurance. He also knows how to find the footy. A fantastic depth player.

No matter what happens in this last quarter Sylvia will get promoted next week.

well if he has ruptured the ligaments, he is still looking at atleast 4 weeks on the sidelines. It has happened to myself and I could not even wiggle my toes for 6 weeks, let alone walk, let alone run.

He is vastly over-rated. Arguably, he isnt even the most influential footy player going around. Jono Brown is often regarded by many as the best. Judds market value is worth more than his actual value and West Coast would want Mclean, Sylvia and a first round pick. I mean he isnt that good!

A great decision having Bate at CHF. On the other hand, a shocking decision to leave Johnstone on the bench. 10 minutes into the opening quarter, we are 3 goals down and u ponder "why the hell would did we have arguably our best player on the bench?"

look at that last paragraph. u've missed the point. what many people are saying is that Miller has already had more than enough time to show if he has any talent..and he has failed to do so. Of course if u play enough games, you will eventually play 1 good game.

I find the phrase 'the Miller debate' a little disturbing as in a debate there is always reasons 'for' and 'against' the subject. In this case, there is absolutely no argument 'for' miller.

im a big fan of sylvia, but no way will he surpass brock. He cannot read the play to save himself.

Year in, year out i get dissapointed by our recruiting. I saw Lindsay Thomas play in the u18 carnival and I knew straight away that he was going to be something special. I'm not sure why recruiters cant see that?..maybe there was some factor that scared us away from him..but why would u not select him after what happened with Davey. His talent is just as obvious. As for Miller, he was better when he was playing in the u18 than he is now.
