  1. I'll choose to supress my boner until we can find a ruckman
  2. Looks like the result of a big night on the emu bitter
  3. Agree Daniel Bell, will do well in the B&F if his form persists, Then there is some distance before P Johnson (pleasantly suprised by his form), Wheatley (based on 2 games I know but been in best both times) Godders & Bate. Jones' form has been good since the Dogs game bar the game against the Eagles. Will get better and better with Mclean in the side.
  4. How about people harden the f up and get there early or sit in the outer. The ground holds 100000 for crying out loud.
  5. Agree that was gold, Sylvanator showing some real strength in recent weeks. Jones pick up and spin was magnificent Brad Greens marks floating across the pack in the last qtr, top class Matty Bate's sticky fingers Daniel Bell's tackle on Leon Davis in the last qtr when he was looking to snap a goal in traffic Neita making Andy maher look like a tool by coming on to play the last quarter 15 minutes after he said the bench was deflated and resigned to the fact they had lost their skipper.
  6. What made you feel sorry for him? Bizz was terrific yesterdat, really enjoyed his efforts the last couple of weeks. I flinched for him when that maggot Holland nearly killed him at CHB considering his previous injuries. Slightly off topic but I think our back 6 are flying at the minute. Wheats has been a welcome return with his kicking be a real bonus but I think his preparedness to run and take the game on has been fantastic. He got caught once in the middle of the ground yesterday but he is playing with confidence at the moment and taking the game on at every oppurtunity as a player with pace and a thumping boot should do. On top of that Daniel Bell has definitely taken the next step. I think I actually heard the penny drop when he was checking Scott Welsh last week and he confirmed that belief for me yesterday getting the better of Collingwoods best player.
  7. Tough for Millsy to get back at the minute. Bate is doing a tremendous job at CHF, running hard all day to present, and the boy has great hands over his head even when running full tilt. However I still think Miller has a future as a key defender but they need to use him in this fashion at Sandy now if they hope to mold him is such a way. The other problem we have is that if he doesn't play 6 or 8 games in the second half of the season his trade value will be little even if he is tearing it apart at Sandy. 6 or 8 even average games for the MFC will probably elevate his trade value at year end which is probably where he provides us with the most use.
  8. And didn't we get reminded of him being the ex-backline coach of the Pies about 1000 times. Who gives a fyin' f... What he should have done if he really wanted the Pies to win was get Sh!thouse on the blower and tell him to remove his head from his anus and get someone who isn't a first gamer on to Robbo. Maxwell was getting carved by Bater anyway so he had a perfect oppurtunity for the swap.
  9. Ooze has a great record against the Filth. He seems to like the big occassion. I think he will be a handful should he play and Danners would have realised this.
  10. Or in Ben Cousins case inhale the lines, or run the lines, the Freeway, the jungle, the river...away from Police
  11. Richmond is always after someone
  12. The man can play. Do one of those mental/psychological tests (you know the ones that they do on prospective police to learn if they are likley to goo postal with a gun in their hands etc) on him and if he passes get him in red and blue.
  13. Maybe he need to knock the top off one
  14. Dal runs lines and kicks well but I don't think he is the answer. Somewhat similar to Trav. A Daniel Pierce/Burgoyne type would be ideal, complimentary to our inside midfieild improvement likely to come in the next several years. Quick, clever, creative, good disposal and hits the scoreboard
  15. The hidden jewel might be Ben Cousins, the article mentions WCE might be able to retain Judd should he choose to move on. I would be keen on taking a punt on Cuz despite his recent history. The man can play, I wonder what it would cost for a brain transplant however?
  16. Riewoldt - several city streets - Dal Santo. If he could kick straight i'd add a few more city streets. Having said that the likliehood of landing either is slim at best.
  17. I disagree Nasher, it might be a fortune compared to what they previously would have been spending but in comparison to what a competition generating the kind of money that it is i bet its a drop in the ocean. Put it this way, and i am only going by assumption here not on fact. Say for instance the MLB or EPL or NBA might spend 5% of its total expenditure on its website, i bet the AFL only spends about 2%. That's what I reckon you would find.
  18. The AFL website is mutton dressed up as lamb. They are trying to make out its a Ferrari but have committed to paying for a Hyundai. Unfortunately this is becoming more and more common in business and life.
  19. We've been pathetic in 6 out of 10 games, competitive but not good enough in 3 and managed to crack it for a win against an interstate club at home last weekend in unconvincing fashion after leading by a seemingly insurmountable amount at 3 qtr time. I love your optimism but what really makes you believe there is any chance we'll win 7 in a row?
  20. Concussion maybe? Don't know just thinking out loud, or in writing as the case may be.
  21. gee Flash got his head in there more than a few times.
  22. I agree we would take that all week long and twice on Sundays but i dont think that will quite get it done.
