It over saw and ensured the slow death of the Alberton Football League through their inaction, and the now amalgamated Mid Gippsland League is starting to head down the same path, with several clubs wanting to exit the league due to a number of factors management related.

They can’t defend to save themselves.

I don’t know about allowing salary dumping. Could open a can of worms with trying to ‘cheat’ the salary cap. A club could sign 5/6 a-grade players to huge contracts, backend them all, then when the players are owed the majority of their contract, the club could just get some other club to pay their wage and rid them of the problem they created. Bring in a heap of talent on big money, have a serious shot at a flag for 2 years, then trade out these players when the back ended money can’t be met.

Agree D3, I believe Chandler has way more upside than Bedford. He is the must keep.

McStay has about as much presence as BBB. SFA. We really need to bring in some toughness and mongrel to the forward line.

Should not be giving up anything more than a second rounder for him. It’s a salary dump from the filth and he also has injury issues. They can take it or leave it (would rather we go hunting for a half decent KPF and damaging mid)

I’d have both Chandler and Bedford in for Spargo and ANB/Melksham. Would give a different look to our forward line for the better. Would also provide more ground ball presence and defensive pressure as well.
