Jack Trengove signed by Port Adelaide as a Delisted Free Agent
Yeah, Goodwin might as well just delist him.

Goody Presser (8/5)
Youâve got to be kidding. One generationâs groupthink thought the combover was the ideal way to address male pattern baldness. Surely thatâs still at the top of the list.

Steven May - drinking session
This reminds me a lot of dartgate last year. The clubâs message has basically been âwe know youâre going through some stuff, weâre behind you, but please try not to get caught next timeâ. I was annoyed about this at first, but no club sanction at all tells me all I need to know about how big a deal this is. And as always, big thumbs down to the tool who took the photo and ran to the media with it.

Steven May - drinking session
Job for @Demonlandmate. I have nothing to do with the banner. Donât tell me youâre another one that thinks weâre the same person? ?

Marty Hore and Jay Lockhart
This was the first game where Lockhart didnât have any holding the ball frees paid against him (or any frees against at all) on top his highest possession game. Heâs definitely getting used to the pace of the game now.

Steven May - drinking session
It sounds like itâs been blown massively out of proportion, but itâs frustrating nonetheless, given the recent history. Itâs all the little things that are adding up - his tab with his teammates is growing.

Crowd incident - Hawks Dees
Yeah, I know that. Although Iâd still say itâs much less likely on balance of probabilities to skittle someone with a slap. I was just trying to answer DV8âs seemingly inane question.
-
Crowd incident - Hawks Dees
No, I donât think thatâs okay either, but obviously thereâs a much lower chance of doing serious damage with an open handed slap. Like anything, there are degrees of seriousness in assaults. Iâve never heard one anyone being killed by a one-slap, have you?

Brendan McCartney & Cooney/Bulldogs situation
Is this an obscure joke thatâs gone over my head, or are you really calling the bloke a grub for not nodding to a stranger in an airport?
-
Crowd incident - Hawks Dees
Relevance, your honour?

Crowd incident - Hawks Dees
I agree strongly with your last line, but I just want to say that nobody has suggested heâs blameless. He is obviously a loose unit and by all accounts, poured plenty of petrol on the fire.

Crowd incident - Hawks Dees
His point was that it was only a light bashing. Itâs fine to bash someone if they mouth off a bit. By the way, he has no idea what I have and havenât seen.

Crowd incident - Hawks Dees
How many people did he punch?
-
Crowd incident - Hawks Dees
If thinking people should be above throwing punches at anyone makes me a virtuously superior SJW, sign me up ?
-
Crowd incident - Hawks Dees
I thought so.

Crowd incident - Hawks Dees
Your point?

Crowd incident - Hawks Dees
Bloke bashes the daylights out of a mentally impaired man, but itâs all fine because they exchanged a few words and the victim knocked a beer out of his hand beforehand. F me, our societyâs attitude towards violence is the pits. It staggers me that anyone thinks this is even remotely defensible, or that the two acts are in any way comparable.

Petracca training incident
Probably trying too hard as a result of every second bastard being onhis case.

CHANGES: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
I dunno mate, just assumed weâd need two talls. Havenât watched a red second of Hawthorn this year. If we donât, so be it. The point was I want TMac back in to the forward line.

Max Gawn we feel your pain
Youâve seen how fast lies spread in the footy world. âThey turned up unfitâ and âthey drank their own bathwaterâ is circulating about our players at a furious pace, even on this forum where weâre supposed to be on their side. I think he has every right to respond with a rebuttal. Yes, obviously we would all prefer the club responded by hitting the magic âget good at footyâ switch again instead of talking (nobody moreso than Max I reckon), but of course since that doesnât exist, he is allowed to defend himself.

CHANGES: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
In: O.McDonald Out: Viney Wonât satisy anyoneâs bloodlust, but Iâm fine with that. TMac to go forward again. Weideman stays in. We need to figure out how to make that combination work again - itâs far too important for the future to abandon now. Itâs reason #1 why weâve been garbage. Not too interested in any other fringe player swaps, though I wouldnât be averse to having a look at Keilty.

Welcome Back to the Bottom of the Ladder
Pick 10 is high enough to get a very good player. The days of hoping we play worse so we advance a couple of spots in the draft are behind me, personally. I wonât do that and would prefer 9th over 10th, 10th over 11th, 11th over 12th and 17th over 18th.
-
Welcome Back to the Bottom of the Ladder
Righto then mate. Stone motherless last. No scope for improvement in this side whatsoever. ?
-
Welcome Back to the Bottom of the Ladder
We will finish in the 9-12 range.

Welcome Back to the Bottom of the Ladder
Just a fleeting visit. Weâre not here to stay.
