  1. Who said anyting about Neeld staying I asked a simple question Structurally what did Neeld do wrong? I don't believe his coaching was poor today - doesn't mean I think he'll stay as there are too many other factors but once again Offer a decent opinion or go cry in another thread
  2. Haha class A [censored] I hope he stays to watch muppets like you cry Offer a decent opinion or go cry in another thread...
  3. No you wake up jackass both those sides have pretty good mids - what structurally did MN fail at?? Hot tip you can't answer it because you're a I hate neeld [censored] - all you offer is enjoyment of your club suffering - you're a leech Offer a decent opinion or [censored] off
  4. Thanks for sharing .... In all seriousness there are 100 other I hate mark Neeld threads - post rubbish in those. If you want to discuss issues in details about the team and their performance let's at least have one thread where we can do that I'll repeat the question I posed to HH - I was at the groung and thought the structure were good - we got punnished for poor turnovers and lack of experience.... What tactically wrong did you think Neeld failed at?
  5. I have no doubt you believe that
  6. Not that it matters but I was at the ground and though the structures were fine What went wrong is we lost 1 v 1 contests and our young blokes couldn't keep up for the whole game. Costly costly turnovers and poor decision in possession made the hawks look good. HH please point out tactical errors Neeld made or is the the [censored] comment thread? [censored] me what a surprise losing to a top 4 side at our developmental stage
  7. Haha what a bunch of [censored] comments Once Neeld is sacked a magic genie will remove all the errors... haha delusional
  8. Agreed - Neeld will have to be a good salesman to keep his job I think we are on the same page Straffod (am a little hungover so not taking much in haha) There are no quick fixes I agree and that's why I am happy for Neeld to keep his job until the end of the year before we make the call - We play bottom 8 sides in the 2nd half of the year - that will tell us what we need to know if he can actually take the club forward... Plus it's the professional thing to do - contracts and other factors have to be taken in to consideration and if he's 1 - 21 it makes perfect sense and the club has done the right thing by Neeld as well. Some on here will have you believe we should have been a top 8 side in 2012 or even 2013 - truth is we starting again almost from scratch after players inherited from the Bailey era haven't worked out.. Now we here 1 & 8 or whatever it is. We are HERE (i highlight that as there is no going back so suck it up - not u strafford but muppets who want to cry will be reading this) so how do we fix it? Hard work IMO and development people don't want to hear that but toughen up princess I don't want to be like the Tigers - a free running non tackling side who beats up on lower ranked sides (they were us in 2011 and now look at them 4 years and still don't look like a top 8 side with better players and recruitment) - sure they win a game or too but who wants to be medicore??? Some on here clearly do.........
  9. You didn't reply to my response to you - what a surprise you take [censored] weak pot shots Believe what you like tona I don't care - I hope Neeld stays until 2014 just to see wankers like you cry PS: Yes i will be at the game Sunday Tona - and yes I will be [censored] off when we lose by 15 + goals But I can see what the club is trying to achieve, we may have had to take a step backwards to get there, and yes it annoys me, but if it means building a strong club on and off field, and the club as a whole can come out of this in a better place then I am all for it.... I am not looking to place blame on people and make myself feel better because people live their lives through the fortunes of the team... I'll be there supporting - what will you be doing Tona?
  10. I hope they can work it out...... I don't think there is a definitive answer it is probably a combined effort. It sucks but if we put the effort in to developing the list - we might actually have a chance in the future IMO - quick fixes will see this club die slowly
  11. Didn't you just answer your own question with your statement? I am saying list management hasn't been the biggest issue at the club - and was referring in general that you can bag Neeld for the performance but I don't think list management is a biggest issue Disagree if you want I am not going to argue
  12. haha i shouldn't even dignify your post with a response but I can't help myself - I enjoy the lols too much Go hand your resume in at the club then muppet - you clearly know all the facts and understand list management better then anyone at the club. You call it delusion - I call it reality and dealing with it - you should try it tona!
  13. You're kidding buddy You act like the MFC were the only ones able to make a call Rivers chased success and it is now well documented Moloney dropped his bundle - are you a muppet or do you just love arguing about crap you can't change? I'll give you a hot tip though we'd probably be 2 - 10 with Molony and Rvio anyway - they're role players not leaders Believe what you want tona i don't give a crap
  14. A more prudent question would be - why would the blokes on our list Neeld hasn't recruited or brought in not been able to respond? Some and I won't bag players have given very little and should able to handle different styles of play as they are professional senior players
  15. I agree with what you are saying as a general rule, but there are exceptions to every rule and the MFC is no different. M Jones and Terlich have been in the MFC best for the majority of the games we've played - so I think they meet your rule.... With such an in-experienced list too much is left to too few players and these blokes are carrying the loan Add to that holes in the AFL side all over the ground and you have a generally uncompetitive unit which we see every week... Unless we could have picked up more AFL ready talent (which i don't think was available in the 2012 off season) I know Neeld tried to get Ray and Mckay from Adel?? Hod to go for blokes like Rodan instead. Bag Neeld all you want but apart from 1 or 2 players in the off season recruiting isn't the problem
  16. Thanks Territory, some good info there... cheers
  17. x 2
  18. Spot on pm24 The media keep making provocative reports based on speculation and report it as fact - shits me Sounds like Peter Jackson is a leader this club wants to follow - Hope he takes the full time role as for the first time in a while I am confident in someone at the top
  19. I'll take a stab and guess deefella is not familiar with the word contract Am enjoying this thread though
  20. No problems McQeen - I know the feeling When points are blunt they do come across as just anti Neeld sentiment - Although I am of the belief Neeld should stay until the end of the year and then the club make a decision, it doesn't ment I don't appreciate the other side of the argument. More specifically what we are talking about (gameplans and structures) are very hard to summaries in a short argument (sometimes I am not sure why myself or anyone else bothers haha - they can be too complex or have the issues that a you need a group of players dedicated to the plan or can actually exectue - and i think sadly we lack both atm). Anyway too long winded - look forward to your thoughts
  21. Maybe you'd care to elborate further to make us understand why you think that - otherwise it is just another blame need for all our woes opinion You keep calling it his team - refer to PM's posts - he's had an experimental season in 2012 and has made 14 list changes in 2012. He has still inherited 3/4 of the list or at least 2/3ds Yes the team has gone backwards - but there is light at the end of the tunnel
  22. Just wanted to say I have enjoyed your posting and thoughts on the MFC - pm24 Although the MFC is not in a good position at the moment - my thoughts align with yours and although I hate watching me team lose and lose badly most weeks lately - I can see the greater good at the end of the year. I really hope the MFC administration now led by Peter Jackson have the balls to stand up for their beliefs/blueprint (which i believe is called the Red and Blueprint) and back what they started when they hired Neeld to change this clubs culture and work ethics. I get a very stong feeling they won't and will bow to media pressure - which all the media are after is a story to headline the news - they don't care about the MFC It is dark days ath the MFC but I firmly believe stong leadership will get us though and I appreciate some of the quality posting on this tread by yourself and there have been real good arguments for change from the anti neeld side. Thanks again PM your arguments and thoughts are a lot better articulated then mine
  23. I probably did RN Will look at this later tonight and respond
  24. All good Pates - I am just having a crack as the majority around here seem to think it's fine to sack the coach with no plan going forward yet somehow that is unacceptable for the board even thought they are just as much to blame for the MFC situation as the coach. Neeld is a scape goat is my opinion I've stated above I am not endorsing a spill of the board - I think when Neeld is sacked in the next 2 weeks it should be the final nail in the administration's coffin as well Doesn't have to happen overnight but it should happen when MN is sacked
  25. This kind of small minded thinking is why we are where we are today G Ablett the best mid in the game started as a small forward. the way footy is played today - all small have to be mids - some will specilise in crumbing etc like a Ben Macglyn from Sydney etc (should have looked up his name haha poor effort at spelling) Also the MFC in 2012 was crying out for a decent small forward with big guyst such as Clark and Dawes as targets in 2013. No one expected the MFC to have as much difficulty as they have getting their hands on the ball in 2013 - we all knew there were holes in the list but not many would have predicted this outcome Making pot shots at the coach isnt going to solve any of our problems
