Maybe it's not the coach who is the problem? Maybe the players need to lift their game? Christian Petracca was very quiet, as were a number of other players. Simon Goodwin was a pretty impressive player for the Crows, but he can't put the boots on and run out for the Demons anymore. It will be interesting to see how the Demons players respond against the Suns....🤔

Another solid effort by Xavier Lindsay against the Kangaroos. He put a few of his more senior team mates to shame on Sunday.

I remember as a teenager way back in 1996 how crazy it was during the whole merger period. It would of totally destroyed the identities and histories of both the Hawks and the Demons. The atmosphere at that "merger game" between Hawthorn and Melbourne was electric. Thousands of people holding up those "No Merger" signs! Glad the merger never happened. May we remain the Melbourne Demons forever! ❤️💙👹

I know we played terribly on Sunday. But if you were a growing business looking to promote yourselves (regardless of the team winning or losing) you would think being a shorts sponsor for an AFL team would be a great idea?!

100% agreed! We got Mark Jamar back as part-time ruck coach. Why not one of David Neitz, David Schwarz, Russell Robertson or even Garry Lyon as part-time forwards/goal kicking coach? I am pretty confident at least ONE of them would be more than happy to do so?!

Hoping they play both Tom Campbell and Max Gawn this week. Max Gawn can rest in the forward line and hopefully cause a bit of chaos to Gold Coast's defence. I expect a massive response by the Demons players this week. They need to come out breathing fire against the Suns.

I expect Harvey "The Bison" Langford to be back in the Demons senior AFL side. The pressure is definitely going to go up massively on Simon Goodwin this week.

Games likes today shame the entire Melbourne Football Club. I thought we were supposed to be improving this year? Those 6 goals in 6 minutes by the Kangaroos against us were totally embarrassing. While there was some absolute howlers by the umpires. The Demons looked like a bottom 4 side and not a top 4 side. What can Simon Goodwin do to rectify these serious issues? Alarm bells are certainly ringing in contrast to the phones in the Melbourne membership department which shall not be ringing much at all this week!

I am quite angry with today's insipid performance. The Kangaroos totally dominated us. It was humiliating! The Demons membership department won't be getting many calls this week!

I was pleasantly surprised with how well Matthew Jefferson played in his first game for the Demons kicking 2 goals. He is still looking very skinny though! Jeffo needs to spend any spare moment he has in the gym building those muscles! 💪🏻

Just wanted to say it's great to see Jai Culley back at MFC training (as shown in recent training photos). Hope he takes it easy with his foot though. I would strongly suggest he spends extra time in the gym to keep pumping those muscles. Would love to see him get a senior AFL debut later in the season for the Demons. Get well soon Jai! ❤️💙😎👍🏻

Took me a few days to get over that close loss to the Giants. Very frustrating! 😵‍💫 All the new Demon debutants gave me hope for the future though.

I know the Club was desperate to try and draft Harley Reid when he was the number #1 draft pick. However, I don't know if we have the draft capital or the salary cap space to fit him into the Demons? Never say never though!

I actually like Christian Petracca's cooking videos. However, I like most cooking shows in general. It's the cleaning up afterwards I don't like doing. 🤣 Hope he continues to find alternative ways to increase his revenue streams, but also stays a one club player at the Melbourne Demons.

I would suggest orthotic insoles for Jai Culley in his football boots. I wore them in my football boots as another level of protection against having any bone stress in my feet. However, I am sure Selwyn Griffith and the Demons medical team know alot more than I do.

I don't want to put any pressure on Kalani White. Let him have fun and enjoy his footy this year. He still has a lot of development to do. He can make up his mind at the end of the season.

Would it be worth chasing Jamarra Ugle-Hagan from the Bulldogs? A fresh start at the Demons might do him good?

I just wanted to make the important note that one of the new Melbourne Demons board members in Chris Barlow is part of the Barlow Family which owns/owned 7-Eleven. The Barlow Family net worth is about $1.95 billion dollars. So, hopefully, Chris Barlow, and other wealthy Melbourne supporters are generous enough to help financially contribute towards the development of our new Home Base at Caulfield Racecourse. I would most certainly contribute a significant donation too, but I am still waiting to win the lottery. Fingers crossed though! 😉🤞🏻
