Just delisted by Suns worth a look ? as a rookie

Another way to come about this is to list who you would want to keep .....then order who's left . We have three leaving. Id think we'd want to churn a dozen players so that leaves 9 to move on whether by trade or door.

for the best Brass band Id think...

Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>
beelzebub replied to Jonesbag's topic in Melbourne Demons
One of the more curious aspects to this was ( and I wish I could remember where I read it lol ) that in the 'battle' for Messendon ( aka AFL penalties negotiations ) it was Little's pushing that the Numb-ers finish officially 9th as he didn't want any team on his watch finishing last. This despite the ramifications of pushing even their first draft pick further out than need be. Nose, face, slice !! lol They must be thinking they can con other clubs at the trade table for picks !! They really are blinded by their egotistical arrogance aren't they !! -
If Roos wasnt taking the job he would have simply said No by now. He would appreciate the position we are in and that things need to move on etc. If he wasnt part of the picture of Melbourne going forward , then we'd be doing just that , moving on with things. Strangely thats not the case, Logic suggests the reason

Well Heaven help us all , Im sure We can work it out so Dont you Worry 'bout a thing !!

panic, panic, panic...everywhere panic. One moment everyone's up, the next its a Chicken Little convention. Lets just for a moment step back and look at the picture that's absorbed our gaze. For some the story will start after Neelds exit, for others they assure us it began after the walloping given us by Messendon ( of all people ) . Roos was approached., and possibly again later when our own change of guard had taken place. Hey Paul...... Nupp nupp, not interested in coaching , no no no no no some whiles later Mr Roos ..... Still cant say I'm interested in a coaching gig sounds like the 'official party line ' Now to me the thing here is whilst he has been rather steadfast and manifest in all this , in reality we only see the publicly ordained varietel. This is and always has been the " for public consumption" answer. What we have learnt is this man is rather adept at the medium he works for/in. There is no question that taking the reigns of such an illustrious club at a point in its history that's been riddled with what kind folk may describe as a lack of success and others more succinct as a total 'balls up" would or could be daunting and a decision ought not be made with any haste or misconceptions. So why do folk now buy this smoke and mirrors palm off that it all will come down to a discussion when the kids and Tammi get back form their 'enlightenment' in Bhutan ? Really ? Any such misgivings and or resistances / objections will have been gone over a long time back. Only from that could you then embark on contemplating taking on the Melbourne job, not the other way around. Roos is an orderly type. His birthday fall the day before mine. I have an understanding of this type of Cancerian. Family is very important and he is by no means apportioning mere lip service to his weighing of the various elements that he has chosen to form his decision. But for mine they would have been looked at very early on if not first. What we are really seeing is a very masterfully concocted 'version' of whats happening. Its a bit like a dramatised film, 'based" on a true story. Essentially its all there but some things are embellished to better suit the watching. As a person who values family I can fully understand if this were, in his view , to extend to his football families and by such he would respect the place and time that Craig has had at Melbourne and not want to step on toes. This is not his time ( PR) as such it's others'. I'm firmly of the view that once this event is put to bed that then and only then will he feel comfortable in taking to the stage for this is what it is, a show. Note the trending form no, to if one was to look at coaching, to commentary about Melbourne, still saying no but outlining what anyone who were to coach would need to understand, to a remarkable shift towards 50/50 through to no decision til maybe next Tuesday. Really Mr Roos, I think i've seen through this ruse and look forward to your remaking of the MFC. Its a bit like a train ride; we know where it's going, only the time it arrives may be up for discussion.

well hes sort of left his mark in a lot of it

The only reason Paul might be waiting on Tammi is so they can present as a unit to the throngs awaiting...like a Royal Family on the balcony we the little folk can pay homage etc. There is NO way in this world it would have been left to this juncture to discuss with the family...That would have been done ages ago.. " Tammi, darling...what do you think, me back in coaching.....and in Melbourne ?" "Paul, thats fine, anywhere but that bogan town Brisbane !!" Kids?? your thoughts....." Melbourne ? Uni places ?? Whats the car sponsor dad ?? " yeah...thats wicked Dad This was done ( started ) ages ago and agreed to in principal also. Its paper dancing etc now. The "announcment" is all stage managed, bound to be. This isnt made up on the run stuff, hes far too methodical for that.

at a guess wed might be Walsh ?

yepp...thanks

well its 50/50 with a kicker...lol something like..."we've away to go yet before any agreement can be had" yada yada yada Apparently Tammi has to pick out a new frock for the B & F !!

Green was soft ? Coulda sworn I saw him back into packs to mark !! must have been a bloke of another colour !! Avoiding the pack isnt always a case of being soft. I used a style for years to come across the face of the pack to steal the ball. It still required some heft body contact at times but it did avoid the crunch lol. You cant always avoid the contact but sometimes its not the best course. Then of course there are those that NEVER seem to go shoulder to shoulder

Given he's going to eat maybe we can supperpoena him ?

Webber. I think Roos is about a 99.9% done thing I also since having been burnt many times having loftier expectations than were really founded actually have no great leanings toward 2014 being anything other than a rebirth. The list will get seriously scrutinised, pruned, added to and recast in the mould of someone else's idea of a team. I do expect us to break free of the gravitational pull of the bottom of the ladder but we probably wont get too far from it. It will be up hill and down dale in 14 The way we play will be rethought and it will take a season to get it together . If 14 goes ok then 15 will be the start of a steady climb. I dont think anyone can perform miracles.
