PREGAME: Rd 08 vs Gold Coast
Salem will.need as many games in the magoos as it takes...2..3..4.. 🤷 Hell need to hit the ground running, and running hard as it's quite possible by then our season will be a constant battle...as it is for all finals aspirants. He cant just come in a get fit... I look forward to his return.

Yes and No... We have any number of Father Son opportunities coming through over coming years. Granted not all fly as high as the parent. In a fashion we might have them at a discount if any are promising. We can only offer the picks we have... and everyones is effectively diluted and/or devalued because of the priority picks going to the Dishwashers. We've made an art of finding talent. Tbh...im not that concerned.. We'll still have a very good core to our list.

PREGAME: Rd 08 vs Gold Coast
Might be me... the new occulars... or.. 🤷🤷🤔.. but ive noticed his kicking . Even I initially thought it just the odd occurrence but started to take particular notice ... Granted the earlier games this year..... Its only his kicking per se.. the getting and going.. does well... but id like a $ for every time he's burnt the the deliveree . I prefer Christian in this role.

Couldn't agree more. After the exuberance and jocularity ( for MASH fans ) of Boweys debut and cult effect things seemed to have calmed. Ive mentioned elsewhere ol' Bowey is right up there on my list of unfortunate turnover kings. Seems to have lost the precision of delivery and this can cost dearly.... on the scoreboard. Salem on the other hand is about as sure a pair of hands or feet you could have coming out of the hb line. Imo... his direction and coordination is sorely missed. But he'll need to be fit.. Love to see him before the KBW .

Freakish Jake Melksham Goal
I still think he has something to offer us. Maybe not for a lot longer... but you can't 'train' talent into a player. That is skill on another level. Maybe 5% of current lists have that sort of craft. I like Milky on the field....if even for just a qtr.

PREGAME: Rd 08 vs Gold Coast
In financial parlance they are at pains to emphasise past performance does not equate to the future. It's said with good reason. At Melbourne, and as far as im fussed that's what ill base my opinion on, he's hardly put a foot wrong. Seems to have done all askedof him and appears to have bought into 'our ways' I'm not privy to the Role he was asked to di ( as opposed ourpossible ideal he set the world on fire ) . I saw him play/attempt a very similar effort as Tmac provides....but arguably not as well , this time around. He might as BBO suggests do better with another outting. That might provide a better guide. He has a distinct advantage, or had, over Tmac and BBB atm. He's fit. That said if his wrist is crook then he may be dead unlucky. In the end i just want players who do well. Couldn't care less who... matters not. Scoreboards dont care who ticks them over.

NARRM Set to Return in 2023
I'm going to be that person who thinks we should just be the Melbourne Football Club. I'm not a fan of what i brand tokenisms. Plenty of opportunity to embrace this that and the other. But as the MFC. Each to their own. It will no doubt not sit with some. That's fine.

What they are saying at 'The Bank'!!
To be ...well....dull....lol... The Street Names often described the Oval's home , historically. Arden St, Linton St come to mind.. Others ...just the name of a Park. Some would suggest we ourselves live out of a Paddock... some, myself included find that hard to argue 🤣🤣

20th AFL Team
The odd thing is.... youre kinda right. Tis a bit Hatfields and McCoys isnt it. Not sure theres the money , or even the ability for the two to survive, but most certainly the division of passion. It would/ will irk some in northern Tassie to support a team that may come tobe seen as that "Hobart" mob.

20th AFL Team
I think it's entirely possible that a team(s) could exist ( or be brought in ) purely to protect the back door. I.e.. to thwart the NRL. Many forget the AFL is a business... it has competition. Always reminds me of supermarkets. Sometimes one opens purely to stop the other

A 19 Team Competition
Its an idea. Not one i favour. I can see the attraction of it. Just dont see it as overly workable. Yes the NT loves footy... i get all that. Are we looking to do this as some sort of social equaliser...or because its truly workable. I cant see the weather being agreeably participant. It's ok... just me.
