This always gives me a little chuckle these days ? Yes...reasons. ..well not so much reason...as a chain of events. The man Roos actually wanted , we didn't get. The man others wanted...we did. Any which way we're stuck with this lame duck and his bunch of gooses for years now.

What you describe is all we can see, most definitely. However, if one looks and sees there are shadows where none were expected it has to raise an eyebrow. Jackson thought he was part of his succession plan as was Roos. He wasn't. I'm sure that wasn't expected. Something shifted at the MFC and I'm not convinced it's for the better.

As it happens...our little tribe ... well part of it...dined and imbibed at the SG this evening. They already had half price steak night...but they took a further 20% off the bill. Bargain. Been about the best use of my membership card this year Thanks SG
