Had Judd incurred his suspension for his misdemeanor in round 1 and not last years finals he would be inelligible. he gets away with so much. A very good player but totally undeserving of the games Best & FAIREST !!! Is a blight on the award

Another player looking at make or break really in 2011. A good preseason a bit more beef and a few more arrows to his quiver might see him ok but is presently a bit of a disappointment to date. Needs to improve with no room for passengers any more at the Dees

I hope the AFL are true to form and kit out the umps with white shorts black socks red shirts with black collars and white names/numbers thus minimizing any confusion .

This is farce.. Through a loophole he manages to grab a Charlie though having served suspension. IMHO any trangressions in the finals ought to impact the allowability to contest the Brownlow the followi g year. Judd is just a camouflaged thug

I think Collingwoods jumper changed back (black back panels )then to allow better viewing of sponsors logos on their backs... The filth are conning all and sundry and the AFL is just too spineless to do or say anything against them. Jusr doesnt make any sense does it really. Put the Sainters in normal strip with white shorts.. and the filth in theirs with black...wheres the clash.. I like your portrayal of the key element here, that being its all there for the doing. Dunn has stepped up to the plate and is realy making a fist of it. Even if Bates major problem is fitness it waits to be seen if 1) its able to be overcome or simple to be a relentless niggle and 2) what else if left to come from him in terms of betterig his game. Its far from complete. He has a couple of tricks in his bag but the new standard at Melbourne is you will need to be a lot better than that. I defer to the nature of the his new contract' inference that the club obviously sees something. I still wager 2011 is make or break..too many knocking on that door to push him aside.Isay this as Bate has yetto hold down any real position and they are going fast.

Whether hes on the vets list or not...money IS money!! He did REALLY well out of the club last going round and quite frankly its a bit rich for him/or anyone to suggest hes worth near what hes getting ) ave over the thre years ) to go forward. The club is dead right for mine to offer reduced salary and only one year. Happy to wish him all the luck in Pineappleland if thats his desire...just got back myself and the weather's fine ..lol Footy is now a whole hearted business. Im not going to either praise him nor deride hm. He is what he is. I think the club is looking at getting more games into a few guys and Bruce wont figure in those plans beyond 2011 at best. Maybe his best play is OPTION 2!! how many years you want to play superman ??

Just mt thoughts . Precedent by club only 1 year deals when wrong side of 30 ! That and maybe club now plays hardball .. And remembers Cam little dance last time at table !!!

Now this is simply to ask the question. It's been reported widely Cameron has been feted by other clubs including GC. He's none too happy with the handling of good mate Junior. Essentially he's up for grabs. Dees only to offer him one year deal. Will he stay ?

I actually think they 'll out do their state-mates up there. Agree second half better than first but that's to be expected.

We've all had a giggle at GC in it's formation but now it's evolving with real flesh and bloody signings ( and no doubt some serious ones still to come ) maybe it's time to consider how they'll go on debut. They will have a preseason and more matches to afford some semblance of gelling into a real side ( as opposed to the shadow that fronted the VFL this year ) I reckon they be more than competive in 2 years and seriously so in 3. I don't even think they'll necessarily be bottom 4 in 2011. I'll suggest 5-7 wins finishing 13. Will start to give a fair fist as thet settle. Don't dismiss this lot.

Whilst I'll ackowledge the sentiment nothing is anwhere near a definite til papers are signed. We all just have to wait.

Only a personal observation but as the Vineys are obviously keeping options open it might come down to how well we go next year. Continue our march and he'll be a Dee. lose momentum and I think they'll cast wider.

The club by looking (still ) for that stay at home type forward have by so decreed that Watts and Jurrah will be forward 50 but with licence . Matty could have audioned better for a more permanent sharp end role but as suggested fitness and abilty ( read able to deliver) quashed all that. He needs to be wary as others are to come on board whilst some still have room to step up. The Dees have a new found abilty to cut underperformers. Don't be the next NQR Batey !!! Let's see the A game from here on in.

You have to ask how much Alwyn has impacted this year ( recovering or otherwise ) ? Essendon have been rubbish this year and still Davey couldn't stand out. We have muchmore limited scope with picks and leverage now so why waste any effort on family repatriation ? Let them catch up over dinner not the lockers !!!
