Jason Taylor tossed up between him and Salem at the time for pick 9, and he’s had a rotten run of injury at two afl clubs, but has the background to know what is required to make it at afl level When is the actual ladder order determined - is it immediately prior to the draft or slightly before? If current positions hold, only North will be picking ahead of us, and it would be reasonable to expect that they’ll go for a tall forward who can impact immediately, whereas we are probably looking for someone with leg speed

rowell and anderson look like incredible talents i'm friends with fish mcasey's dad, who played one game for the aints back in the 80s (his claim to fame is that when he went on the ground plugger was sent to full-back!) and fish looks hella brave as their chb

pickett has blistering pace but his ball use is atrocious edit: although better than anb's d50 exit kick...my god that was ugly

he's not a small forward; he's a wingman / rebounding flanker handy player who breaks lines and tackles well, but has a tendency to spray it of the boot given that we gave up second rounders for melksham and hibberd, i'd put him BELOW their value, so maybe something like straight third rounder OR our second for langdon and freo's third / fourth rounder could work?
