  1. grand final isn't in october; makes it impossible!
  2. peptides last win in the finals without sheedy as coach? 1968
  3. if it was one of ours it'd have been 4
  4. Wow that would be massive - let's see how many 'no shows' we have as a result of the likes of mcc members having to prebook with no walk up; I would guess could be quite high I was thinking anywhere around 50-55k on a Wednesday evening would be a great turn out
  5. feeling pretty optimistic currently... Premier: Melbourne Runner-up: Gw$ Wooden spoon: Hawthorn Moving up: Richmond Set to fall: Geelong Brownlow Medal: Clayton Oliver Coleman Medal: Bayley Fritsch NAB AFL Rising Star: Jake Bowey Best new Demon: JVR showing huge promise in the VFL Demon All Australian: Gawn (captain again), Oliver, Petracca, Langdon, Salem, Lever, May Demon B&F: Oliver Big call: Clubs will approve a 19th license for a Tasmanian team in 2027 and then the AFL will kibosh it unless a 20th team comes in at the same time / the year after, as a 19th license adds nothing to the value of rights agreements Ladder prediction: 1. Melbourne 2. Footscray 3. GW$ 4. Richmond 5. Bears 6. Pear 7. Carlton 8. Sydney
  6. not for about a decade 😈
  7. 1. GW$ - they have an incredibly talented list that, arguably, has copped injuries and suspensions at the worst possible times 2. Pear - the likes of Robbie Gray and Travis Boak are running out of runway to claim a premiership, and the former is probably my favourite non-Demon in the AFL
  8. grand final, 2021 > r23, 2021 > preliminary final, 2021 round 23 was glorrrious
  9. take it to an aints board, cos we don't have any interactivity with the area anymore
  10. freo and meth coke are both gonna throw big money at logan mcdonald
  11. seems like a fair few injuries coming out of that gw$ v filth clash
  12. gw$ looking really good or the filth really bad?
  13. from my understanding, he played five matches for st. kilda u/19s before he got 'cut' from their squad, i think was the second ranked tennis player for his age group in victoria, and THEN tried his hand bowling a combination of offies and leggies he was clearly one of those blokes who was a 'natural' at playing sport
  14. chris lamb had the biggest turning circle of any player i've seen play for the mfc i remember seeing him get turned inside out by a 36 (or so) year old sav rocca in canberra one pre-season and knew he was never gonna make it right there and then that young fella aaron davey looked pretty orright in the same game tho...
  15. getting to 100 points is no small feat - i would imagine that shorter quarters and less players on the field makes scoring opportunities and possession chains that much harder, especially with the aflw players not having the kicking penetration or more polished skills of the aflm players
  16. load membership into mfc app on phone, put phone in microwave, set to high...
  17. how many 50s this evening?
  18. harris plus daisy and now bannan up forward has completely changed our forward structure for the better
  19. first team in aflw history to break the 100 point barrier
  20. Dees love Perf stadium - men’s or women’s I take it Freo have been ravaged by the rona? You wouldn't know; commentators should definitely mention it some more
  21. tayla's marking is elite
  22. robbie gray's hammy goes 'ping'
  23. as long as dusty stays fit the tiggas will be there or thereabouts it's hard to judge on a practice match but the hawks don't appear to have a forward line or an ability to manufacture a score, which is not too dissimilar to their season last year
  24. grimes, prestia, and soldo all looking pretty miserable for the tiggas i think breust for the hawks injured too
  25. riewoldt mouthed off and it took the "respected adjudicator of officialdom" an AGE to call the 50 compared to how red hot they were about it for our praccy game
