2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch

Geez, Harley Reid appears to have been adjudged consensus bog for the underagers despite only playing three quarters, and only the first half in the midfield. The kid looks to be a rare talent. -
seeing as he's never gonna leave, it would seem so...
-
i reckon radelayed makes sense... perth is too far away, sydney doesn't give a flying fig, and brisbane is a combo of both move it to victoria, ya cowards
-
i thought goodwin threw a lot at the wall yesterday - shifted oliver out of the centre square to break the tag, rivers into the guts, brayshaw up onto the wing, jvr / plugger pushed back to gap cover when petty was off with sore ribs, trac moved permanent forward to replace the 'connection' that spargo's absence caused... nothing works cos the peptides were too good
-
you don't spent shy of half a million of a $13.5m cap on a player yr not intending to play which is essentially what you are advocating i am also saying that anyone on that sort of coin expects to be playing senior footy
-
i think we'll agree to disagree on that one that's totally not something i think would be a sensible thing to do i'll trust our list management strategists as they're the experts, after all
-
you'd be negligent in yr squad make-up if yr gonna pay 'reasonable money' to someone who is not in consideration for best 23
-
except any b grade ruckman worth their salt wants to play in the team not in the vfl look at peptides - phillips is a very capable body, and part of their regular best 22 there's not many of his type running around at second level and on afl lists; if they command a position in the squad then more often than not they're in the side
-
we didn't play well but i think we're under representing how well the peptides played they dominated forward, mid, and back their performance against us was more comprehensive than the bears imo

2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch

eh? we're not finishing bottom 5 on the ladder this year freo, on the other hand... -
hoping for laurie to stake his claim as spargo's concussion replacement with precise delivery i50 really curious to see how the backline works with turner and adams as the key defensive pillars - they're very young and inexperienced expecting harmes to be absolutely dominant and certain members of this board to rail against his inclusion vs the tigs
-
certainly the 2010-2020 era - i think a large part of that was the invention of two franchises sucking the talent out of drafts coupled with the introduction of limited free agency it meant that the good from the latter half of the 2000-2010 era stayed on top for longer; in the first half decade of the 00s the bears were dominant after they'd feasted on the corpse of ol' fitzroy and been gifted a generational father-son while the pear were still reaping the benefits of their introduction - so many of their dominant players came from their introduction as well as canny drafting and an incredible fitness regime led by - who else? - darren burgess now that the drafts have evened themselves out there's definitely looks to be a host of teams who are can win this year i thought it was going to be a spread from the 2-11 spots on the ladder but the spread looks even bigger than that at the moment
-
i don't get this comparison at all i thought he was the only mid working hard enough defensively in the first half and he finished the only dee in the top five for tackles as well as being third for metres gained, behind langdon and trac huge game
-
famous last words...
-
spargo definitely out we don't make wholesale changes but tomlinson, mcdonald have 'don't come monday' vibes about them...that said, i'm epecting a few!
-
6: viney 5: petracca 4: rivers 3: petty 2: oliver 1: mcvee

that point sums up our day
