No use flicking the switch of the powers disconnected
  2. Maybe all their names are Sheila? So as a plural they are Sheila’s… and he just forgot the ‘ 😂
  3. Goodwin prob looks flat cos we are playing crap, he is devoid of ideas on how to turn it around and LJ is about to walk.
  4. There is pressure and there is half arsed efforts that get deemed pressure.
  5. Sure, and prior to that he was poor and good. His coaching especially of late has been super rigid.
  6. We haven’t evolved. We are playing 2021 football in 2022

The selection has been baffling. We don’t replace Tmac, we tried and no one brings what he does. So change it up, bring in a different player and give a kink to the game plan. After Bowey last year you would think he would be open to shaking things up

I have had faith. I wanted to write this a long time ago. I freely admit, I’m not a massive Goodwin fan, I think during the week he is a very good coach, I reckon on game day he is too stagnant and will follow his theory on game play right to the end even when we are getting spanked. I’ve never thought his in game coaching good. Our selection has been poor, we have continually tried to run too many talls, we can replace Tmac with a tall, he ran and pressured more like a mid than tall. Our best games have been with a smaller forward line. Your point on skill and ability is right, but we haven’t lost it overnight, we lost it ages ago. We dominated on pressure last year, this year we are being dominated and flustered by others pressure and game plans and we are panicking and butchering the ball. we know Goodwin won’t change the game style so unless we get a massive lead early we are pushing feces up the creek.even then we have let teams come from big leads multiple times this year.

Really hope it does, but we don’t look like we have another gear. Last year we were there abouts and it all gloriously came together. This year I reckon we have looked and felt much more disconnected and disorganised. As I’ve said, I hope you all quote this in two months time and call me a nonce, but I’ve not seen cause for optimism in a run for quite a long while.

Sure we are in a similar position, others don’t seem as dominant but we have beaten Lions here and Dogs. They are the only 2 teams in the 8 we have beaten.

Seriously though. We are not a dominant side. We are a side that relies on non game day coaching to win. pretty much all our players are worse or breaking even on last year, I think our coaching is worse than last year. been thinking it for a while but we won’t pass prelim week if we even make that. Last year was a epic run. No repeats here. truly hope I am wrong. Time will tell.

How’s lever looking, ie over head marking etc
  13. Yeah you would think they know to a certain extent. Negotiate enough contracts and they would know the signs. Gus would be different as he is a RFA. So he has different options but so do the club.
  14. Yup. Predictably is good but when a key cog isn’t working you love other cogs around.
  15. People always say “why don’t they come out and tell us” The reactions of people on here is why. Id be happy to know he was leaving at seasons end, he is a professional who would do his best to help us win the flag this year. I don’t boo players, the club will dump them just as quickly. Yes it will suck when he leaves but I’ll just keep following the team.
  16. No chance. Even though we have been average for ages Goodwin refuses to put him back to a wing or in the centre, even for 5 mins when we are getting beaten. Hell, when Clarrie missed he put an average performing Sparrow in there more rather than move Gus in there. Once Goodwin is set for a position for that player they are there for the year.
  17. I think that is against the AFL rules.
  18. Bedford gone. Oliver in. Melksham did well in the last, but I’d prob get rid of him too.
  19. Gawn - can’t be fit. Pickett - highlight reel performance Viney - consistent 4 quarters Petracca - class showed out Langdon - vital outside running Sparrow - disposal is putrid Jordon - solid, won’t star Fritsch - selfish and arrogant Brown - clunking his marks Jackson - not playing well Hibberd - a cracking game Harmes - hit or miss May - beaten all over Brayshaw - reliable and consistent Spargo - some better connections Melksham - important in last Neal-Bullen - great multiple efforts Tomlinson - justified his selection Salem - shocking kicking again Rivers - good return Lever - injured early Bedford - ghost, was unseen
  20. Why can’t Salem kick?
  21. Yup, said in a group chat, we have 5 games coming up and can easily lose them all. We haven’t been great all year, we have had great qtrs etc and got wins, but overall been good, but not great and if we play like we have been, including today, we are making up numbers.
  22. Bedford is a ghost out there, unseen. Melksham is the worst selection choice of the year for all clubs across the globe.
  23. But is he the peoples Judean front?

My biggest watch in the next 5 weeks will be the coaching staffs input, in team selection, positional selection, and telegrams to the game plan style. We have failed against Cat, Freo, Swans, Pies with our style. Do they stay the same or tweak.

A player one day will follow through as they know they have him high due to him doing this and will end up hurting him. I’ll have zero sympathy for him when it happens, no matter the injury.
