The Run Home
One of the more interesting things for me is that people keep saying, âWe arenât at our best. We will flick the switch. We were like this last year. Our best is still the best.â For me, I think our best last year was the best. But I donât think we will get to that level. We pretty much have had a full list most of the year, a few injuries but not like 5 missing from our best, we have a game plan thatâs been countered and I havenât seen our counter to theirs. Or a new play. the run home will be determined by is playing above what we are now, but unless we have a new tweak to the game plan and imo some much needed positional changes we will not suddenly rise to the absolute heights we did last year. still means we are a chance to win it all, but it wonât be a demolition like last year, this run home will determine how well we hit September.

Weid or Rooy?
Nah at best thommo to CHB and Petty chf. But Iâd prefer Disco to CHB and Petty forward if we donât want to blood van Rooyen

Our kick out strategy
Iâd love to see a stat on how many of our kick ins lead to another f50 entry. I reckon it would be quite high. Of we kicked elsewhere every 5th it means the opposition would need to be more aware but everyone knows whatâs about to happen. Just another thing we do exactly the same each week even once itâs broken.

Farewell Luke Jackson
I could take one on itâŠ

Is our offense a problem?
Whilst all the stats look great, itâs always hard to marry two years up. Have we played better or worse teams this year to last etc To me they feel similar because like last year we dominated inside 50âs and our conversion was avg to poor quite often. For me I donât think our connection to our forwards is great, but Iâve also thought we have been too tall all year. BBB and Fritta should be our talls with Max and Dogga also chiming in. With another tall we are to easy to rebound against.

What They Are Saying at Moorabool Street
I always say to them, if they used the money for the upgrades better they could have demolished the tiny shizenstadium and built one made for humans and not ants for the same cost!

What They Are Saying at Moorabool Street
Itâs their home ground. Why would they be complaining?

What They Are Saying at Moorabool Street
To be fair, not one cats supporter down this way (that Iâve spoken too, and itâs a lot of them) wants this game on a Thursday night either.

Sure, but he hasnât smashed May yetâŠ. But he is a decent player, that Petty will smash.

Hawkins is more a threat. two of the last three times he has smashed mays eye and made him pull a hammy.

23 - 9
If the ump department review this game, they will de register these three. Im watching the second half (missed the second half live) and Iâm not one to usually speak about them. And itâs not what they gave them, itâs what they didnât pay. And the most obvious ones. Oliver hit, langers block, Fogarty jumping into petty trying for mark of the year and getting no where near it. Huge throw by Laird. It was as putrid as the umps against tigers last week.

Tracca and Oliver are Gods
But their is selfish and plain dumb. And that was plain dumb.

Petracca has kicked 20+ points, I wish it was only 11. mind you he should have had a goal last week but Fritta was selfish.- CHANGES: Rd 16 vs Adelaide
No change for me this week. Roll them into the next game.- NON-MFC: Round 15, 2022
In those blunt cases the AFL offical and fourth umpire should send a message to the officiating umpire and they should be sent off. No medi sub allowed either. But the way the umps game the cats everything Iâm surprised they didnât disallow Soldo coming on and instead allow the cats to have 5 on the bench.- Low Attendance
So I got home just after 12:30 this morning, so will be one of the few times (if ever again) I bother doing a Thursday game, but I had today off work so wasnât too bad. The music/flashing lights wasnât as annoying as I remember (have they turned it down or am I getting more deaf đ) Beer is horribly over priced at $12 for a mid strength but at least itâs pirate life and not Carlton draught or VB. Only vegetarian options were a pastie and hot chips, no where else I saw had anything different but I may have missed it. Lower costs will help, less crap across the speakers would also be good but I still hate Thursday and Monday games (not PH games of course)- Farewell Luke Jackson

Nine tackles is the big one for me. Thatâs insane numbers for anyone let alone a young ruckmen.- The Jack Viney Made Me Cry Thread

I honestly think we wonât be breaking the bank over Jackson. They would be making an offer with Brayshaw and Oliver in mind plus others coming OOC over the next few years.- Low Attendance
Wouldnât hurt if they kicked more goals during games either. I miss the old one on ones during games, I know they are long gone but hell I use to watch Roos vs Eagles just for Carey vs Jackovich- Low Attendance
This is even worse, Pink Lady should always be a Saturday night. You get people who want to be a part of the night even if they donât care for either team. Itâs a more worthy cause than most in the AFL and the AFL are shafting it. Being a Thursday 95% of those who would think to go on a Saturday night will not go to the Thursday game. The AFL are so cooked that meth heads look down on them. - Tracca and Oliver are Gods
