That’s a lot of cap space and if Kupp, AD and Stafford are all playing well the full tilt will happen again in a one year throw at the stumps.

Niners D should put their O in good positions, that’s what ours did, pats use to do, chiefs do and Eagles did this year. Your biggest worry is still QB1. Which considering how they have been solid early in their careers it’s not that bad as they should improve. I hate to say it but the Niners are the team to beat in the NFC.

But if it nets you a SB then it’s all worth it and then you cut everybody and rebuild.

Whilst I’m no fan of Slobbodon, it’s his top 50 of players who he thinks will be most influential for this season coming up. In this Curnow sure could be, if that guy got his body right and has a decent run at it, he could be anything. If Trac plays as well if not slightly better but adds more goals then he deserves the high spot. Oliver on the other hand is so bloody good that he nigh on will need to avg 50 touches a game to go to the next level.

We had to play pretty much both sides. Didn’t have enough playing back then.

I was good at linebacker, made vic squad, less so at running back, but tbh in the early 90s we pretty much all played both sides of the ball and special teams and it was much easier on D than offence. I don’t remember strafford saying that, but my memory is poor 😂 I saw a pic a while ago and the uniforms have changed a bit from what I played in and the emblem is totally different.

Rice and Montana for me were next level. I watched them toy with the Rams for years and when it seemed over they replace him with Young who lost to the Rams like once. [censored] I hate the niners

If you have an opinion why be humble about it 🤣 I’m blatantly biased. AD99 is the best for me, like Brady, he was too short, arm reach and hand size too small, proved them wrong to the point that he has done things on defence that interior linesman shouldn’t ever be able to do.

For me Brady isn’t even top 3, prob not even 5 QB’s if you go by talent in the position, he just won the most. No one ever talks about how good the defence he had on the pats team was. They are always left behind. Then add in The coach etc oh and the cheating. But he is to this day one of the best 5-8 hrs across the middle passers I’ve seen. And he had a mental toughness that will be hard to beat and a desire to win like no other. As a QB, he knew his limitations, and excelled at what he was good at. Put Montana and Rice in the modern pass happy, protected game it is no and he would be next level on the greatness he was.
