  1. MFC, that one is on you. There is absolutely no-one to blame but ourselves.
  2. Oh come on you crows! You can do it
  3. Seedsman you ripper. Come on crows!
  4. Come on crows ffs!
  5. Relying on a team with ques in the rack
  6. In 30 minutes it will be a formality. Really not looking forward to that sick stomach feeling
  7. Any NIN fans? "Try to save myself but myself keeps slipping away"
  8. I hope for as long as I live that this is the final straw that broke the camel's back. This club must change
  9. The dream is dying
  10. Well I dunno but these results are turning out pretty cap right now. It annoys me that Richmond will get top 4 and we might miss
  11. Barrack in for the Dockers is like leading a horse to water and trying to make it drink.
  12. I'd say somewhere between Mayweather in 8 rounds to distance
  13. Bam. Nailed it
  14. Needs a good period of time up forward.
  15. Yeah. It is important to note that this has been an underlying issues for a long time. Yeah there's other clubs also in this category, but it's time to shed the soft tag once and for all. We need to be playing like absolute animals, players who want to die for the cause. You have to want it
  16. A performance like that will see us get played off the park by 10 goals if we were lucky enough to make it. Freo, Hawthorn, North, to a lesser extent GWS and now today. These games all had a pattern about them. The other side gets the jump on us 4 or 5 goals up at qtr time, we end up having to kick, punch, scrap, scrounge and claw to get back into it. We end up chasing the game, make a little in-roads and lose by somewhere between 1 to 3 kicks essentially flattering ourselves against some bottom 8 quality opposition. Yes teams drop games, I get that. But when the pattern emerges this many times?
  17. Yeah pretty much spot on. Honeymoon is over now
  18. There's an old saying "Act like you've been there before". Well..
  19. You're right Nasher but it affects the way you think about it. When too many people start talking like that it permeates through your skull and you start to 'taste the chocolate" and it makes this situation much harder to deal with when you crash back down to earth than if you'd just tempered your expectations.
  20. Exactly. That thinking just never helps matters, it certainly doesn't put me at ease. We just need to be focusing on what we can do and make sure we front up and do our job. As for the percentage boosters, before the Hobart North game I had a mate text me saying "We're gonna smash North by 100 points, I can feel it" ha.
  21. Going into this game, I heard all the lines. "Collingwood have nothing to play for it's ok" "No Pendles, De Goey, Reid etc". I will say this and only this. In my time of supporting this club none repeat NONE of that stuff means precisely jack. Absolutely none at all. As long as a team from wherever fronts up with 22 players we are always a chance to fluff a game we are supposed to win. Until we ever break through this psychological minefield I will never pay attention to players out or what the other side has to play for or ANYTHING TO DO with the other side for that matter! It's all elevator music to me. Focus on what we do.
  22. Very disappointing. Fell to bits really, even when coming back there wasn't really a moment where I thought we'd win. The burden of expectation weighs on this club like an anvil. I hope the results go our way so we can at least break that drought and move on but there's a lot of questions to be asked. Our issues are psychological. It might be harsh be we are still soft when it counts. I don't agree that we haven't improved, we have come a long way but the psychological issues will be the hardest to overcome going forward.
  23. Come on Dees! Pull hard
  24. I'll say this one more time. If we go down we go down fighting. Come on Dees!
