  1. Just in case you thought I trawled through the archives to bump it with a dumb joke.

Oh for the love of Clive Waterhouse! Appreciation society? ?
  4. What a 24 hours it’s been people!
  5. I BLOODY LOVE YOU OX ❤️ No.5 forever!
  6. Yeah look I'll put my hand up there, a bad joke. My opinion doesn't change but it wasn't nice. You do crazy things after breaking a 12 year finals drought
  7. I hardly think throwing a little barb his way is 'sinking the boot in' but I get what you're saying

I'm not sure. I kind of want to keep emotion out of it for now and just play who we play and hopefully get a win. But that could all change soon.
  9. Don't get me wrong there is a bit of sadness to it. He spent a very long time in a dismal environment and was quite often unfairly the poster boy for our failings. But at the end of the day if he was good enough he'd still be here. For Jack its not just a matter of saying that he was unlucky and didn't choose to leave. He could have been part of it if he really wanted to.
  10. That's life unfortunately, he had a few goes.
  11. Hey Jack, what are you doing in three weeks?

For sale: One lid, its now off. Free to good home.
  13. Haha I turned around and missed the play on and goal so that might have been a good thing!
  14. Amazing contribution from those 3. We all felt it with Kent's shot, he had to dob it and he did! And Frosty, man he actually hit some targets when we needed to!
  15. Yeah we do but 24 hours is like a safe zone where I don't even want to think about the next game, team changes, finals aspirations. NOTHING. At some point soon I will but not right now.
  16. The world stopped for a split second when he was lining up. Was like a life flashing before your eyes moment! That image is burned in my head for good!

For sure mate, it makes you realise that success in any sport is bloody hard to come by and if you are fortunate to have some you have to be thankful. Those Daniher years remain some of my best footy memories. Compared to what people had to go through in the back end of the 60's to 87 it was definitely something to cheer about.
  18. Absolutely. Very, very good at his craft.
  19. Completely got this wrong. I was not excited at all when he came over, thought he was one of the most overrated players in that Dons side who was lucky to get a regular game. Absolute masterstroke. Very few players in the league kick like him. Very good football sense.

I guess also because Philly is a massive football town and they hadn't won a major title since the 1960 NFL championship (think that's the right year). They craved success pretty bad.

I got on board during the Steve Young period. Narrowly missed the Montana era, I was pretty young when he left SF. I've definitely seen some success which is good. But in those years from 06 if you take out the Harbaugh period they've been a dysfunctional tire fire not too dissimilar to the Demons!

There's a name I haven't seen for a while. Reminds me of the old 'ology days.
  23. Would definitely love to sneak a listen to SEN right now!
  24. I'm having a shocker. Zero concentration whatsoever.
