  1. How about the run by Brayshaw! Could have had 2nd if Sidearse didn’t pinch 3 in the last.
  2. Worst Brownlow for years. Boring as BS.

Man I’m so gutted right now. Can’t even watch any other games I’m too ticked off. Maybe tomorrow after I’ve slept on this. Yeah it’s unfortunately a very annoying thing about this sport but it does happen unfortunately. I remember the 2013 Rodgers one pretty well, Flynn did a good job till he came back but it hurt the Packers a lot that year. Beathard isn’t too bad, he’ll get the gig. He’s definitely limited but he’s at least got a decent understanding of the playbook already.

    Whoops, there goes the season.
  5. Will tune in later, maybe Round 15
  6. Had a similar situation on QBH this year with the wife of my friend! Wonder if we have the same friend ? It threw a petrol bomb on a fire that had simmered in recent times.

Some good points here but why is the thread called 'St Kilda'? Haha
  8. After this game and season I'm real surprised there are some people who are dirty on the club and are thumbing their nose at it. After this game and season I feel the opposite, I want to barrack even more. We finally have a platform and can take the next step if we do all the right things. To see all the people at the finals training that Saturday a few weeks back and at Fed Square has given me joy I haven't felt for years and had totally forgotten what it felt like. Not to mention the 90,000 plus crowds. Don't get me wrong I was gutted. It was a terrible way to go out. Have I felt the way you have? Of course. I felt exactly like that after the Geelong game down at Skilled. I'd had a gutful. But that is all now clearly changing. It's official, we actually have a proper football club to support and get behind and even if you are real cynical wouldn't you want to hang around with anticipation to see what we do next year? If we go to tinfoil then you may have a case but for now it's onward and upward and of course if you're just venting and don't mean what you're saying I understand that too.
  9. You won't have to dress up in Collingwood colours will you? That would be awful.
  10. Ouch. From experience of reading footy media, giving fans this line is like waving a red flag to a bull. It may have been true and there may have been little we could have done to get ready with the experience we had but no-one ever wants to hear that a side couldn't get ready for one of the biggest matches of their life. Hopefully we'll be better equipped to handle it in future.
  11. Suit yourself. Please choose your words carefully though.
  12. This has been my thinking for a while. I am sick and tired of cringeworthy Grand Final weeks and Grand Finals. I got on board with the Bulldogs story after they won it but in the lead up and during the game I was barracking for the Swans. However my worst case of this feeling was last year. It was really hard to cop Richmond, a team that had been as mediocre as us for the last 30 odd years break through the glass ceiling first. I remember thinking the only thing that could match this or be worse would be if the filth did it. For once if we are not there I’d like to see a completely inoffensive Grand Final. I would have killed for a West Coast v GWS game. I am not one of these people who wants a Victorian club to keep it in Victoria. I know the footy purists would hate it but who cares.
  13. I think it would have been a lot worse if our full time score was a record low. There's plenty of teams in history that have had pathetic first half scores but come out to get a bit of scoreboard respectability.
  14. Have you seen the AFLW? The girls are as tough as old boot leather.
  15. So how would we actually get May? Would Frost become a casualty?
  16. A great laugh but at the same time a bit apt after yesterday
  17. 6. Oliver 5. Harmes 4. Hibberd 3. VandenBerg 2. Viney 1. Brayshaw
  18. I’d have Lewis in the starting 22 but I would expect him to be out of it and replaced by this time next year.
  19. Just keep winning, get more Friday night games, convert some of the new attendees into members and the rest will follow.
