  1. 100% would love to nab Phillips
  2. Not the Phillips I'd prefer this trade period but would give us some cover in ruck

A near miss multi like that just ruins the day! Sort of glad footy is over because I was burning cash on same game multis.

You should be loving life right now Gorg we got smoked, but gee wiz 10 legs? Only you could find a way to hate us more! :p I've always loved the sly comments from commentators like Buck today saying late in the game "There will be many people round the country watching to see if they can get in the end zone". So yeah, that was the weirdest Thurs Night game I think I've seen. Essentially playing a practice squad and getting starched on national television. Packers run game is impressive, it should take them far. That's pretty much it, nothing else to say about it.

    Ravens, Steelers, Raiders
  6. A good point. John Longmire, that is all I got.
  7. Key thing out of this was they at least did an actual review. Pathetic to even say this but I feel that is a massive tick in an age where clubs can say they are actively doing things like this and then conveniently forgetting or just talking to staff and calling it a review. Coaching changes had to be made and I'm excited about Yze taking the midfield group. But is he just a line coach? Who is the right hand man for Goodwin? Also why is having Greg Stafford, an extremely credible ruck coach the right guy to take our forwards? Not trying to be smart I'd just have liked a bit more on the reasoning behind some of these moves. Could have saved a lot of toilet paper reading by just saying "We've got one new addition, Yze. That is all" I'm interested to know what the new position Ben Matthews is moving to because if it involves standing around in the box or sidelines with the Ipad in the hand studying the metrics with a nervous look on his face he'll slam dunk it.
  8. Need Phillips if we're making that trade.

I'm for that. "We'll pay you later, we'll pay you later, we'll now ship you out" they got themself into this mess.
  10. We need Dr Evil back.
  11. This one makes no sense to me. Goodbye thank you
  12. If we can solve a need at a third of the price would be the why. But obviously you'd be crazy not to go for Treloar if available.
  13. I don't know about this guy
  14. I don't mind the idea of Brown but I do worry about our ability on the ground. We need pressure and that's all there is to it.
  15. Can't say anything that hasn't already been said. Find a the footy well and shakes defenders. Needs to kick through the big skittles

Off today and watching, really disappointing. The Hawks were probably always going to win this, such a well coached team with at least the equal MVP QB right now. I know we have injuries but I just can't get past the issues surrounding Jimmy G right now. Yes he's struggled with his own injury problems and who knows how much this high ankle sprain is affecting him but I think it's more than that, the guy misses simple reads far too often. Even in the wins we've had this year it seems to come from a Shanahan offense with training wheels on it. Not always a bad thing, can work for the Andy Daltons and the Ryan Tannehills of this world, but we're paying ridiculous money for a guy to make dink throws and hand off. It's also exhausting having the heart in mouth all the time when he just won't throw it away, he gets crunched badly at least twice a game. I know we won't get much sympathy nor should we but geez it's hard to see a team more all over the map in the last decade than ours.
  17. Yeah I can't quite get all the disappointment! Things change at rapid pace, I'm confident your info was probably right at that point in the week but then the 11th hour bids out of no-where come in. Credits in the bank, keep on posting and don't worry about all the other stuff, you're Dr Evil! You should be focusing on taking over the world (or something like that) :p.

At the start of the season I would have said 7-9 but even that looks like a stretch right now.

Stupid Seahawks! At least our division opened up.
  21. Yeah for sure. And Petty would be a considerable upgrade.
  22. I think forward is his only chance. Not quite switched on enough as a defender. Decent one on one player but that's it down back.
  23. Great move, happy with that
  24. More and more I feel society doesn't really know how to disagree properly. There is rarely middle ground between someone disagreeing and making the other person feel terrible/That person takes it too personally and not saying anything in order to rock the boat. I don't know if anyone else feels this but you see it on TV and in media all the time. It's not only about not letting emotions get in the way but how do you also show someone that you respect their opinion without agreeing with it but then also not having that resulting awkwardness? There are posters on here I've discussed topics with for a while so you know there is some kind of mutual respect there but if they are people you don't know its tougher to gauge, just my 2 cents.
