Well yeah that is true and I find it kind of weird how few people in the media are talking about that.

At first I thought the Greene one was horrific. I still think its slightly careless, I don't feel its necessary to fully extend the leg like a ballerina to protect yourself but the free kick was probably all that was needed.

Yeah noticed this as well. Could also have something to do with our entries? Didn't see him targeted a whole lot and was mainly working to get to the contest once the ball came to ground.

Great question. Think you're not far off either. I think Frost is the quickest off the mark player at the club but in terms of sheer acceleration its Hunt all day. Would like to sneak Kent in there when up and running. -
Those are the moments my friends. Those are the moments. Gaz made a good point on SEN this morning that when these two guys from other clubs show that kind of hunger to play finals it has a massive effect.

As a big Liverpool fan I'm pretty mixed on that first game. Horrible defending for each goal conceded. Mignolet flapping all over the place and basic organisation lacking at the back. Please bring in Van Dijk now (as unlikely as it probably is).

Its the day after and man it feels good to see that his comeback was a success. I'll be crossing my fingers that he gets through a decent block of footy. He deserves it

I would say that its coming hopefully. We still lack a little firepower and we don't quite hurt teams enough when we get it to the outside. Once these youngsters get that belief and a bigger tank I have faith we will run over the top of someone.

I have to agree. Weideman was at least physical and provided a contest, he didn't flap at the first sign of body contact.

Great story! Love how we've got someone the kids can look up to. Hopefully he can deliver for them for years to come!

It was a little frustrating when he took turned his back on the mark when we had a loose guy in the goalsquare. Judging by his body language he did realise quickly but it was too late. Could have a lot on his mind right now.

Whether or not he's carrying an injury he looks burnt out. I can't wait for him to get another full pre season under him fingers crossed.
