  1. This has been one of the worst trade periods in memory. Script that Volkaneo
  2. His football IQ to me is much better than Billings' and seems to do inside and outside very well. I like him a lot.
  3. Well done jarheads
  4. Haha that's good!
  5. Handshake agreement and witnessed (screenshotted)
  6. Gee wiz there has to be more stuff for us to talk about
  7. Spargypants will rise.
  8. The chuckle brothers live act.
  9. Gotta be close to the best 'kick into 50' player going around.
  10. His 2km record is astonishing, it blows Bailey Smith and Sam Walsh's times out of the water which is insane. I too think 49 is fair, they should just accept it.
  11. What are you talking about, you've got cred to take to the bank!
  12. When do you reckon it's too close to the deadline to say this and be able to PR your way out of it if things change? I reckon 2 - 3 days, at least then there's time for good offers to come in, saying it the day before is a much tougher sell: "Sorry I can't remember saying something like that as recently as yesterday" "We were committed to and had faith in Oliver, right up until the last minute."
  13. Gee Adam I've been hoping for the prototype Jack Sinclair from my armchair view of the highlight reels!
  14. I keep toying with the idea of reaching for Lindsay at 9 but is it just that, a reach? In terms of field kicking I just love the way this guy kicks the footy, nice trajectory and puts it only where his target can get it. If we were really keen at one stage on Houston, could this guy not be similar and ready made? I don't know but I'm definitely thinking two mids as well.
  15. Smillie has been the hardest to get a read on for me. Some say he's best as a half-back, others say he's a Cripps like big bodied mid who could go forward. Potential is definitely there though and if he can build a tank he could be anything.
  16. That's right, sources close reckon we will know inside 24 hrs.
  17. Thanks for this Little Richard and sorry for the delay in responding. Can be a long time between drinks in this thread but you do occasionally find yourself coming on here when things aren't great! I think there is definitely merit to the idea of letting anxiety or an attack happen, it's a bit like the 'stay still' approach and the bear won't see you kind of thing. The only time I'm not too confident about using it is while driving, it's the one place where it legitimately feels like a panic attack could bring serious danger. Anyway thanks for this post, this second half of the year has been tougher but hopefully it looks up.
  18. It's bold, very bold. Obviously want to get experience into the club and getting pick 12 back doesn't hurt in an even draft. Carlton would be laughing though.
  19. To reiterate what I said about Sloane, I don't see why ex players with next to no coaching experience are being touted as the all important midfield coach replacement that we so badly need. I'm not opposed to bringing good leadership into the club and I would love to see Jonesy back in some form but throwing these guys into the fire in what seems to be a pretty extensive role doesn't gel with me.
  20. At least I can still call Tholstrup 'Dirk' now.
  21. The way Trac is training he could be one of the most feared people on Earth.
  22. Houston, you have a problem
