Farewell Luke Jackson
Just finding it hard to believe they think they can get Jackson without giving up Lobb. They are so different to us in the way they handle things.

Dunkley is the domino. Much like Lachie Neale in 2018. Why does it always have to be Brisbane!

Farewell Luke Jackson
I just don't know why they didn't get the Lobb deal done in the first few days, I know it's not an easy one to figure but much easier than this one. Why leave all your schoolwork and exam study to the last minute before the test?

Yep, I'm leaning to the player route as well. I just can't see them doing anything pick wise.

I do, it was hard. Very hard. Often we would leave it right up until the eve of the season to secure a major jumper sponsor. Much prefer the alternative.

Farewell Brodie Grundy
When it comes to swapping picks aren't the points just a guide? Pick 14 may have been the best we could get but that doesn't mean teams would accept the offer. It's not like going to the milk bar to buy a block of chocolate with 47 10c pieces.

Exactly. Good run-blocking linemen (especially interior linemen) help with getting those north-south runs for the 3-5 years a carry. Consistently it adds up and it I hate the term but it really is the definition of 'run to setup the pass'.

NFL
That's right, everything starts on the line. I would never laugh at a rebuilding team if they went out and got the best Left/Right Tackle they could get before getting their QB. Protecting that blindside is way more important than people think and even some of the best QBs can't function without it. The one constant that Belichick always gave Tom Brady in New England was a steady line, he may not have provided him great receiver weapons all the time but their O-Line was usually servicable at worst and they had one of the best Line coaches in the business as well. It is a shame that these guys don't get the credit they deserve and it can be hard to see how an O-line is performing when watching live in the moment. I remember Mark Schlereth once saying when he watches football he really focuses on the line of scrimmage battle more so than the ball and play that develops. Give me a good line and average receivers over the reverse scenario .
