  1. That's the one thing that kind of annoys me, NRL starting first. In the past they would have played a pre season competition and the week off made sense, not so much now. Not so crash hot on a split round to start the season though. Let them all start at the same time and give hungry footy fans the big buffet!
  2. Has it been purely based on stats and metrics or have these dudes spent hours and hours evaluating every player in the comp?
  3. Exactly. It's a talking point, granted not a very good one but one nonetheless.
  4. Death, taxes and St Kilda having an injury list from another post code.
  5. We knew this was coming. Just got a little more real.

100%. Just hope we have something left for the O-line!
  7. They really should start 4-1 as a minimum with that kind of draw. Anything less won't be good value.

No worries! Glad it's all sorted.
  9. For this reason my FC viewing starts next week.
  10. Yeah hopefully he turns the game into a total bog hole and Saints win 53 to 48. Stranger things have happened in Rd 1 I guess.
  11. Yeah this week is a good one for footy fans. A new season, new possibilities. Enjoy it for what it is before the 6 months of stress each weekend kicks in.
  12. Haven't watched a lot of media this week, everyone's a March expert.

RT Mike McGlinchey reportedly joins the Broncos on a 5 year $87 million dollar deal. Are they mad? The bloke has not been a good run blocker since we made the SB, we run to the left now as much as anyone in the league. All the best but gee wiz.

Big move, $40 mil guaranteed is a lot of cash especially considering Bosa is about to get $30 mil plus. Not sure about pouring all our money into defense but Hargrave is worth it for sure.

Whatever you do though don't screenshot if your phone is in dark mode. Doesn't scan at all. Just remember to put it back to normal light mode first.
  16. Can't get around St Kilda's list at all this year. It's just bang average and really unbalanced. Think the Dockere start 1-0 pretty easy.
  17. Yep, another stinkfest on Sat night.
  18. Ox had a successful comeback from the knee recos but if you didn't get a chance to see him play before them then you really missed out. His agility pre injury was something that had to be seen to be belived. It was probably his no.1 attritlbute and for a 195cm guy that notion is absured but he really did move like a midfielder.

Great question, I can't remember if I claimed my member ticket or not now but I'm going to have a look at it.
  20. Had a good feeling about Sparrow in the last few weeks. Will back him in
  21. Probably fair to say he's out.
  22. How many goals will we need out of our key forward group (T-mac, BBB, JVR, Schache and friends) to win the flag this year?
  23. Yeah it's an interesting one, we went before the Sydney final last year but other gamedays are going to be more fluid and last minute. Will see how it goes.
