I really thought that Gold Coast were nothing short of pathetic last night. Not sure how much more we have to put up with these uncompetitive performances but if they say they want to play finals then these are the games you have to win. You can't just gee yourself up for a big one last week and then relax. It's been going on long enough and it's almost curtains in 2023 already for them.

For me there was no more intimidating place than Vic Park, the only place I ever saw sell special Carlton Coldies in plastic bottles at the grassy hill end.. Princes Park was tough going as well but Vic Park. Shiver.

Yeah clearly about a foot short. Although still wouldn't have been surprised if they reviewed it as they usually review everything from behinds to mosquito bites.
