  1. I don't look at this as a way for clubs to keep draftees longer, to me it's simply another layer of protection for clubs. There will still be go home factor and there will still be players like JHF who feel the city isn't for them and force a trade. What this does though is give the club a bit more leverage and a chance to be more adequately compensated in trades if these situations occur.
  2. I've never used Kaspersky since. Or before that. Or any kind of paid virus software.
  3. You're a stickler for graphic detail DeelightfulPlay! It's your bread and butter! 🙂
  4. I'd love to get down there for a week and see all the sights. There's no good reason why I haven't been, just hasn't happened yet.
  5. Look I've got respect for the guy, I did think he was an exceptional player. Not always clean but a big part of both flags he played in. He's been a fantastic coach as well and like Goody was able to take on feedback at a time when he probably believed in his own methods but was able to do the self analysis and grow. What is starting to grate is the macho bravado and smug attitude in interviews and pressers that has crept in. He was always a smartalec in pressers but he's almost starting to come across as a bit bitter lately. The incident with Schwarz a few years back wasn't all that impressive. It sounded like pub talk and we all remember what he did that day. Would have been best left unsaid, he doesn't have to knee-jerk at every tough question or comment.
  6. That's right, the Soccer players here know all about it!
  7. I've also enjoyed Ouch!'s input and now yours, it's good to hear the sides of the story that aren't your own and get a more well rounded view. I've never been to mainland Tassie only King Island so I've actually got no reference point or understanding of what Hobart is like as a city and I'm sure it has advanced a lot over the years. Is the weather as erratic as Melbourne's though? That is the question! 😊
  8. Bare minimum we should be wearing the indigenous jumper, it's a no brainer surely?
  9. Haha I think we've all had a few rage quits of DL that didn't last long!
  10. You're right we didn't! I had to check, we all thought it would happen but we went traditional.
  11. Loving all the Utopia references. What a show that was.
  12. Yeah he's getting touchy but whatever. Let him look stupid
  13. Tell us about it! Wouldn't mind a week in QLD or WA right now
  14. Angwin could play, he was just a nump
  15. Petty the only in
  16. Time to put things right this time!
  17. I'm too busy being in awe of JHF at the early stage of his career than booing.
  18. Thought he took a good step forward on Sat night but I agree it's been a tough start to the year for him.
  19. Good observation, I'd been focusing a lot on the ball drop. He does have that natural right to left and needs to work to his strengths. He'll get there, already taken leaps and bounds.
  20. I thought this was the most easy thread on DL 😝
  21. Appreciate all your thoughts on this Ouch. We've all got our own opinions on it and how it would work but it is good to hear points of view from people passionate about the Dees AND Tassie.
  22. Couldn't agree more, think they've been spot on with the way they've done this.
  23. Hibbo will be managed at times this season, there's no way he'll play every game. His troublesome achilles restricts him a fair bit these days along with a couple of other issues. Really unsure who will take that place when he's finally done.
