  1. WHERE WAS THE ZOOM? THERE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AN EARTH SHATTERING ZOOM!
  2. Glad I logged into Umpireland today..
  3. We've dropped a few too many games against top 8 teams in close margins that we should have won.
  4. That would be crud apples.
  5. Done so soon?
  6. Well said. We need a better system, plain and simple.
  7. Yeah but it's also positively correct.
  8. Hope someone got fired for that piece of brilliance
  9. Sorry but Schache is not the answer and absolutely not the answer after watching today.
  10. How is this definitive though? There a few still shots? Needs to be in motion and how can anyone say from the review it clearly misses? if it did it would have been overturned? Not saying no THBT but there's people saying the tech isn't good enough and then people saying it clearly wasn't touched and if that were the case it would have been sufficient evidence to overturn, if they still didn't do it then there is corruption happening.
  11. Get stuffed mate. You're a Muppet.
  12. Fair play, but into the toilet in the last game.
  13. Don't want to go to Brisbane and have to get flights and junk.
  14. Absolutely, the problem is that none of them show them definitively not touch it it beyond doubt and thanks to this stupid system we're stuffed.
  15. Same situation as last night
  16. Pees me off that Carlton have one foot in the finals now. As a neutral watcher of sport and sports entertainment purist it would have been much more exciting seeing their finals aspirations go right down to the last game.
  17. He should get suspended for pejury.
  18. I think it should be benefit if the doubt is a goal until proven otherwise. Like Cricket or Soccer and Tennis where the ball has to full cross the line. Make it that the ball has to be definitely touched, none of this fingernail malarkey. These idiots still ramble on about SOS touching it in 93 but the correct decision was made.
  19. Good call. Bring about change.
  20. Counts for a lot I must say.
  21. At 17 free kicks each the case for the umpiring making it uneven really makes it sound like we needed free kicks to win the game. If that's our M.O for trying to win on the MCG in the wet with multiple players out for the opposition then I'm not confident in those conditions come finals at all. Yes there were some terrible frees missed late but things get let go in the wet as well. It is a different point though I agree. I've watched that last kick many times now and there's every chance it is a goal. Can't get into the head of the goal umpire and anyone who can definitely tell from the ARC that it wasn't touched just ask yourself how you're so sure. A ton of Carlton fans around me were adamant it was touched but come on here and everyone is convinced it's not. It's like a divorce and hearing both sides of the story and then cutting it in half. The touched call was innocent until proven guilty and as soon as the soft call was announced I sat right down. It didn't matter what likely happened.
  22. What if the goal umpire heard a scrape? Leave your wisdom here..
  23. What's the use, we'll all be replaced by AI soon.
  24. Not saying it wasn't touched but screenshots rarely prove anything in these situations.
  25. Probably had our last loss for the season. Need to be back next week.
