Training - Friday, 7th December 2018
We had pace setters a few years ago, from memory a couple were boundary umpires, the others middle distance track athletes. They are great to use as they understand what pace they need to run at to hit the time targets.

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
Got to love Politics. Both major parties need to bow down to the Greens as they really hold the balance of power and to win the election you need Green preference votes. Only if Dan Andrews didn't keep the Greens happy with the East West link we would have a completed freeway linking all our freeways. We are 4 years behind with a new project that really is a band aid. Inner city need to get off the Green band wagon so one party can make proper decisions rather than worry about keeping a minority happy

PICKS # 26 & 31 (formerly # 23 & 28)
Avoid Jacks, our history draft jacks isnt that great, Watts, Grimes, Trengove.

Phantom Drafts - 2018
From pick 30 on is going to be interesting, Sydney, Collingwood, North and the Bulldogs would be using the points from there picks to cover F/S and NGA picks, you will find some picks will move 5-8 picks forward. Picks 26, 32, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 44, 45, 47, 48, 49 could all be used as points rather than picks.

2019 Fixture
I think we will be the last game of the Easter Round, rather than the first game of the Anzac round.
-
Daniel Menzel
He killed us in Round 1 this year. Could be a good back up for Milkshake

MELBOURNE’S NEXT GENERATION FOOTBALL ACADEMY
All clubs have developed the next generation academy's and father son, father daughter academy's. There is massive advantage to clubs now to get top line kids through their academy's

Delisting, Trade and FA discussion 2018
The best thing about picks we 54 and 61ish, basically these picks will move 8 to 10 spots forward as the pies, north, bulldogs and Sydney have stockpiled picks between 30 and 50 for academy and fs picks.

Recruiting a 3rd tall forward to find another 50 goals?
Petracca, it wont come from one player it will be a combination of players
-
Delisting, Trade and FA discussion 2018
It removes the distraction of will he wont he stay for the next 12 months. We get May, Preuss, KK pick 23 for Hogan Kent and Tyson. I reckon we have identified holes and filled them

Farewell Jesse Hogan
West Coast Eagles will be sitting back laughing their heads off at Freo. They know they have a team which will be top 8 for the next 5 odd years, young midfield group. They can't wait to get their hooks into Hogan as soon as Kennedy is done, Hogan and Darling set up the Eagles for a couple more potential flags.
-
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Or May stays committed to GCS for one more year and we get him in next trade period and costs us nothing
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
I think 5 and 23 plus swap next years first round pick gets this deal done.
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
Deal with that after we have 2 flags in the bank and we all couldn't care if he goes for pick 100
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
Peter Bell is a very smart man, he knows that he has to look like taken the hard line approach but also knows he can't walk away from this trade week with just Lobb, he wants Lobb and Hogan to show the Footy world how good he is. His Ego will play into our hands at some stage, he wants two prized recruits to create some hype around the Dockers for 2019 Also Ross Lyon can't build a list from bottom up, at Sydney, St Kilda and Fremantle is was about adding experience players to improve your list, look at his track record not much development of kids.
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
The game will be that fast that you need these big hit up forwards as outlets then get the ball inside 50m where the pressure will need to be.
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
I was open to Trading Hogan for the right deal, 2 first round picks but with the rule changes announced yesterday he is the ideal forward. The CHF role will need to have a massive endurance motor as the game is being built for a fast transition from defense to forward and clubs will need hard running forwards hitting up and getting back. For us to have TMac and Hogan with big tanks would be a massive advantage with Weiderman playing a deeper forward role
-
Farewell Dean Kent
Looks like we will stockpile some late picks to offer up as a bundle to get pick upgrades. Shame to see Kent go but he can't get his body right
-
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
Great Result, get rid of Tyson, to cover a massive hole on our list. With Bradke as the devolping ruck, I still think we will look at Rookie draft another ruck from state league competition.
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
Agree, they want both and need picks. Fremantle needs to decide if the want to play hardball on a midfielder that wants out or get the trade done that will see them land Lobb and Hogan. I reckon Peter Bells ego will get in the way.
