  1. Too many stories floating around now. A deal will be done soon i am sure. We need to get more speed in the middle...
  2. I will be dissatisfied until we win Flags. That’s what it is all about. That’s when 100,000 people roll up to our home ground and hold up the cup. Sorry if that is to hard to deal with...
  3. Thanks Tom, was hoping you could get more games, but it didn’t happen. You made Hardware Lane...
  4. But that just gets us back to where we were. We have to improve on that, be it 1-2%
  5. I wwould be stripping the motor right back this summer and doing a full rebuild. Isolating weak points. Most of the engine is fine...
  6. Bought my Membership in August for 2019 Have you? i understand the journey alright, the MFC blew the head gasket last saturday afternoon. Work will be done over summer...
  7. Always gave his all, that is all you can ask. Good Luck in future Cam Thanks...
  8. I would be playing Hogan off Half Back in 2019. I don’t think we have seen the best of Jesse yet. Not by a long shot. Personally i don’t think his kicking is good enough to be a key forward. But i certainly wouldn’t be trading him for pick 6
  9. My journey will be far more fulfilling than yours. I aim higher...
  10. Thanks! Too many of our long suffering supporters accept close enough is good enough. We have to break that thinking. Yes 2018 was a great season, but far from satisfying after what happened on Saturday.
  11. Who cares what Richmond are doing, you are trying to dilute a situation we created. To often we soften a problem by saying someone else was almost as bad. I want the MFC to be the best, i don’t care about other sides. We didn’t score a goal in the First Half last Saturday. Why did that happen and where did it start??
  12. 2 surgery’s! That is not good fingers crossed
  13. The analogy i make is there is very little room for mistakes in live TV. So preparation is paramount. I have seen people dismissed mid show for bad mistakes now i am not saying we sack players mid game, but i have never seen a whole team completely capitulate from the opening bounce to halftime in a Prelim Final like that before, both old and young completely shot it is a worry going into next year, every club will watch that game closely to study what we did and didn’t do to look for any edge Last Saturday the MFC was not prepared at all for what took place, and that lasted for 60 minutes including a break where things were discussed by the coaches. It made no difference. Just extraordinary... I doubt Goodwin will get much of a holiday as Senior Coach, he had a solid year all up, but the last act was a train wreck
  14. Haha ? you have obviously not spent a lot of time in a TV studio once the Red light is on. It’s anything but constant, i assure you. That’s why it’s live.
  15. I hope you are right. We will be hunted next year, no doubt. That’s why this year was so important, we almost got a free hit. But Perth was too much. The fact that Meth Coke kept it up for an hour was scary...
  16. Maybe. The club will be either seething angry at what happened or shell shocked. We won’t know the true answer till next season...
  17. Quite possibly we got it wrong, yes. I admire his honesty in saying it. Incredible that the dominance lasted so long...that will be a major concern to Goodwin over summer....
  18. Sure mistakes are made, but you got around them so the audience didn’t notice the problem. I am just suprised at what Max said on Sunday, that they weren’t prepared for what the Eagles bought. Prelims are do or die, they always have been it’s not a suprise we died within 2 minutes
  19. I disagree. Certain sides in the AFL expect to make top 4. They train and plan for that goal. If they don’t get there one year they usually do the next. We the MFC haven’t had that mindset for a long time. It’s time we did. I enjoyed seeing 90,000 watching the Red and Blue at the ‘G. We must aim for those moments. Preparation is very important. I worked for years in “Live” TV. There was no room for mistakes. I just had to get it right. Maybe that’s why i think the way i do..
  20. Why not? set high standards What’s your pass mark for 2019 seeing as you bought it up?
  21. We don’t know until next season. It was a huge wack...
  22. I know it is. I was shocked. I thought we had come further than that. A Preliminary Final is all out war, the way Meth Coke attacked the game was no suprise to me. We the members must now wait....
  23. Of course. I hope the Club goes right through it all with a fine tooth comb. All those small answers need to be fully addressed.
  24. I want to know how 18 (22) players can all play so badly at the one time for a sustained period of time. Big Max said in his article on sunday that the team was not ready for such intense pressure. Why weren’t they? It was going to be there where was the preparation at? What did the Coaches do? the 2nd half is irrelevant. Meth Coke had achieved their goal
