  1. The "of" is redundant, as is the post.
  2. Puts the entire issue into its true perspective - good post. If I could, I would put my hard earned on him staying. nuff said.
  3. I am currently in the Kimberley for work, so obviously was not at the game today. However, I managed to watch the game live on TV at the Willare roadhouse, which is between Derby and Broome. Stood in bright, warm sunshine - sorry Demonlanders- with some good ole boys, some of which wore their Freo scarves over their blue singlets. A great bunch of blokes really. I was pretty impressed with the Dees today and agree, as some have already said, it would be nice to see us string two good performances together. I hope we can next week against the Toigs. My highlights were Howe - this kid is going to be very good and Jack Watts. One of the rouseabouts standing next to me said, "farrk, this kid is good. He turned to me and asked me who JW was and I told him he was our number one draft pick, 3 years ago. He replied, I can see why. Of course we were all looking through the xxxx beer googles at this time - that is all you can get up here at the present time. But the best line of the day, given that many of them are cattle farmers, or at least station hands, was when a bloke with no teeth said, that Freo was worse than the "filim" that showed those *@#)ers in Indonesia f^in with their cattle. I have been a critic of DB and I don't resile from that, but I believe he would be an asset to any footy club, but just not as a senior coach. Looking forward to the Toigs game next week How was the atmosphere at the G today? I note the crowd was only just over 19K. Greetings from the red Kimberley to all Demonlanders.
  4. Best wishes mate. Emulating Jimmy, you and your wife are both champs as well.
  5. The word is big Max IS IN. Go Gawn.
  6. Whether you consider we need it or not, doesn't matter. We are having a mid-season review as a matter of course, and injury/player welfare management will be part of that review. It makes eminent sense to do so, regardless of cause and affect of injuries.
  7. As I said, the club will have its mid-season review and injury/player welfare management will be part of that review. What is ridiculous about that?
  8. While perhaps it could have been worded better, it is not a "ridiculous" post.
  9. If Bailey goes, I want Roos - if he is in the market.
  10. If our inordinate injury list is simply down to bad luck, then we have to be one of the most unluckiest organisations going around at the minute. There may be one remedy............ to coin a cliche; the harder you work, the luckier you get. Again, it may be simply coincidence, but have you ever noticed how teams whose form quickly diminishes, a subsequent raft of injuries ensues? The club has already flagged a mid-season review of all sections of the club. Whether coincidence or not, injury and player welfare management will almost certainly be a part of that review and so it should be.
  11. Eddie MGoo has already stated that if Mick wants to go, the Caringbush will not stand in his way.
  12. I did not say is was "patently obvious" in terms of the reasons to change the diagnosis, rather, it is self-evident that there has been a significant delay in making such a diagnosis. A Freycinet 2006.
  13. Agreed Master and you are probably spot on, but the "delay" in referring it to a surgeon - if that is indeed the case - would be a worry if true. The club has ample access to the Ortho surgeons
  14. Again, I'm not a medico, but I would have thought there is a patently obvious and quantum difference between a " a short rest period" to "surgery was deemed the appropriate action", which now sees Davey sidelined for 6 to 8. Just asking the question, that is all!!!!!!!!!!!??????????
  15. I must be really dumb, but I have no idea what you're talking about, nor the point you are trying to make and your seeming need to make a point for a point's sake. Now,................................ back to my bagel and Sav Blanc.
  16. It is not for me, or anyone on this forum, to provide answers. Rather, as a stakeholder in the club, I am entitled to ask the questions. Again, as quoted in the article, For any professional football club, I find that to be an astonishing admission.
  17. Any pangs of conscience he may have had were probably eased by a comprehensive win over the Dees. However, if you are right, I'm sure his coach will deal with the issue during the week. In any event, your retort carries little weight in the circumstances. Perhaps we should just concentrate on our own backyard first.
  18. No, nor did I ever claim to be. Simply put, we are, as supporters, entitled to ask the question, despite your bellicose and parsimonious attitude. When in doubt, as a paid up member, I will continue to be fearless in asking questions.
  19. Unfortunately, history demonstrates, that history repeats itself all too often. However, I agree, let's hope we are not currently condemning the present - and future for that matter - with the failures of the past. However, whether we like it or not, I fear the greater football community may well think so.
  20. No RR, just a question. Which any poster, on any forum, is entitled to pose, especially when a passionate supporter of a footy club. In a similar vain, I asked questions, on this topic, in two earlier posts. In my view, those questions are worth asking and more importantly, deserve an answer.
  21. And this quote worries me REALLY!!!!!!??????
