  1. Hope you got on.
  2. Takes two to tango
  3. Damned if you're deemed negative, damned if you contribute enlightening material. Thankfully nuts you haven't commented on my post yet. Optimistically speaking there's undoubtedly a positive reply coming...
  4. Like Ethiopia in the AJC Redleg. Lightly raced and good ew value. Should have won its last start. Protest was dismissed.
  5. Flock or livestock ?
  6. We prefer to talk about the footy players that show some cheek, do well on a flank, don't skirt or mince and those that like to play in a topside. Those that don't mind to put the shoulder bone in much like Garry Loin chop did with his rump.
  7. Somewhat short sighted by Thomo calling Caro out in relation to the AFL mouthpiece. Caro sledges the AFL where warranted, particularly AD. Thomo has always come across with a bee in his bonnet where AD is concerned, and despite me agreeing with him on many occasions, the way he carried on last show was a little childish. Make your point and move on Thommo.
  8. That has been exactly my thoughts, regardless of where we finish. There is also the option of trade if our club has convinced someone. Which would be a hard sell, but anything talks, particularly money. There's always the highlight of getting a blazer as a Mfc player, to help when convincing....{a little tongue in cheek}
  9. Those players that I mentioned Redleg, of Hawthorn, are very good players and very important - particularly the likes of Sewell and Lewis, Hodge. Well above anything we have in terms of quality in our midfield.
  10. Redleg, There is also Hodge, Sewell, Lewis, Hale, Birchall, and there bevy of fleet footed left footers. Superior midfield is a starting point and in the main a very well drilled side looking to be top notch for the first 6 rounds and set up there season (just look who they play). Their back line this year with the return of a fit Stratton seems more settled. They are where we want to be in 5-6 years time. Just about at the top of their game.
  11. According to Deestroy All, Dipper did and HWSNBN stormed off and his mail was that it would have been cut.
  12. Did Dipper run through him and call him a pu55y ?
  13. In the running it had the sit behind the horse in front, in second. Last time I looked that wasn't out in front. It may have spent some petrol tickets getting to that position early, as instructed maybe, but it was certainly swamped over the final 200m in a 1100m race. And yes, they still haven't met, but that's beside the point. Sepoy has 10 wins from 12 starts now.
  14. Well beaten by several mollydee. Good research too on the Biffenator. He's probably right about them not racing one another. Sepoy will have to step up to face the BC. Oakleigh Plate form suggests there's better opposition anyway after having the sit of the race.
  15. AFL Insider is pretty good too Redleg. Bit of analysis of the game and strategies, which is very good.
  16. The more cricket I watch, the more I admire Test Cricket. I'm more inclined to watch and be more interested in Pakistan v England playing in Dubai than I am in a ODI Game 5 Australia v India.
  17. Moody said as much after the race, although there now maybe a change of heart for next week. She pulled up very well. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/superracing/trainer-ponders-giving-black-caviar-shot-at-20th-win-at-home/story-fn67siys-1226275305259
  18. Nineteen. But don't let on to the Biffenator. He's a big Sepoy fan. Apparently according to Biffen, Black Caviar has been avoiding Sepoy. If you want to talk racing or BC - there is a Black Caviar thread in Sports. Redleg, you might want to add some input on BC.
  19. All the best for the wedding 45 ! Deep breaths...
  20. So do I. The countdown clock to the draft that I created for WJ/Redleg is somewhere on this thread that is 43 pages long...
  21. Truly was awesome, wasn't it ? Privileged to see such a racehorse just so dominant against very good horses. Looks as though Moody will enter her in the Lightning Stakes (1000m) this weekend, before the Futurity the week after (back to 1400m). She'll have 20 wins on end before she leaves the country for her stint overseas. Brained them over 1400m on Saturday. Makes you wonder if she can go 2040m around MV.
  22. Davis was considered not long after news of going to GWS/leaving Adelaide as captain material.
  23. And I thought Shaun Marsh has had a horrid Summer. Cam takes the cake as far as horrid Summer's go. He's going to have to work very hard to get back. I even wonder if he's got full support at the Vics ??
  24. Matthew Wade. Two debuts in as many nights and two Man of the Matches to boot ! Thoroughly well deserved, and although David Hussey would not have looked out of place with M.o.M tonight, I thought Wade's innings was just as important. The catches behind the stumps were the icing. Wade also contributed well in the second T20 loss to India with the bat down the order.
