  1. the mind boggles at the impossibility of such a task, mable, but i should give credit for at least attempting it. although, having not seen the inhabitants of romsey village it might not be so difficult a task
  2. well i'm surprised at you bitters. surely an esteemed country squire like you would never ever be seen dead in any ugg boot not made from the finest alpaca hide. to think you would be seen abroad in footwear made from a lowly common sheep is unthinkable
  3. moonie! i thought you were holed up in a motel room with stuie?
  4. bitters, if you are going the full monty i might have a vintage norwellan bluey duffle coat (complete with wooden toggles) somewhere in the attic. be excellent for rounding up those long-necked sheep of yours on a bracing winter's day at romsey manor . an absolute necessity for wearing with desert boots.
  5. to match the little one underneath, moonie?
  6. don't you mean 3 in a row? we have already won our lst 2 home and away games
  7. now, now od. you know you can't win against a lawyer
  8. the heidelberg ones do, bitters
  9. nein, dummkopf, just pig german
  10. picked up my scarf at the mfc tent before the game from josh wagner. he just grinned when i said "guten tag herr wagner. ich mag deine musik"
  11. I was at fed square and heard biffo. i was shocked. my lawyers are currently busily documenting a writ for plagiarism his speech was word for word from my recent blog - "the modern hellenic revolution - the decline of heterosexuality in the west"
  12. BIG KUDOS TO OLISIK HE WENT HARD EARLY AND REALLY NAILED IT
  13. looks like earl has wrested the keeper of the moral compass title from that distinguished predecessor, to add to his other titles
  14. pre-mortem was the word you were searching for bitters. biffen on the other hand prefers ...............
  15. after i flatter them and purloin their glasses, mable, they are putty in my hands. i would never attempt bbo's adventurous approach however. it might work in frontier villages like romsey but not with glen iris gals.
  16. please, bbo, spare me the adulation and fawning, it doesn't befit my modesty
  17. now mable, really, where is your sense of class. the cable knit is far too bulky to wear both, and i suspect, even on its own, too stifling for a pleasant autumnal day in melburnia, so the blazer it is, sans cravat
  18. still deciding whether to wear the striped tennis blazer or the spiffy cable knit sweater with the red'n'blue striped collar that one of the old dears knitted for me
  19. didn't do norm smith any harm with checker hughes.......just saying
  20. i'll be turning up in my fred perry tennis whites. that way i won't need to get changed before attending the glen iris ladies tennis gala evening later. i like to get off to an early start these days.
  21. the XXXXL size and dog collar would have been a giveaway but
  22. i agree. spare the rod and spoil the brat. bitters is obviously in denial of his immoderations
  23. such desecration of your artistic treasures reminds me of what isis did to palmyra, bbo i wonder if you might be able to retrieve them from the way-back machine on the web. they should be preserved for posterity on the other hand, they were a bit of tosh if one was sober
  24. you're scaring me, moonie
