  15. between the railway cutting and the oval there is firstly a parallel strip of grass, then a parallel (i.e. east-west) pathway with an avenue of large trees either side. i might be wrong but i would expect this avenue to be retained (do you agree?) therefore, there is quite a distance from the railway cutting to the oval (40--50m???) and the (double) avenue of large trees would obscure (to some extent) the view of the ground from buildings over the railway cutting at least this seemed to be my opinion when i went and walked the area on the day of the saints game. what do you think cbd? or have i got it wrong?
  16. the north east corner is just a reference to where the proposed training oval is located in yarra park
  17. can have 2 interpretations, od " The Demons confirmed there would be an administration building on top of the train line----- but only goal and point posts------ on the playing field <<<< which is >>>> in the northeastern corner <<<< of yarra park >>>>." i prefer this interpretation myself
  18. nor an ability to leverage income
  19. certainly don't use it for study anymore
  20. according to the hygrometer in my study, it implies that 65% is the point between "normal" and "very humid" but i don't trust my instruments ?
  21. temp 27c dew point 20c equates to rel humidity of 65.6% whatever that means i don't really know, but suspect it means it will be hot and humid
  22. players will be wearing 3d virtual reality goggles which will "add in" things like boundary fences, goal posts, crowds and crowd noises whilst simultaneously providing a plethora of real time statistics on the goggle screen. tis the way of the future
  23. i know od, but essenscum are the exception. also i wouldn't say hawthorn are "well into" yet.....long way to go we also have casey, but i agree this is not really much help by new tech i meant they could have hidden goal/point posts and netting underground and could pop them up at the flick of a switch. an extension of what they already do at the mcg for netting. instead of a fence the could have popup led lighting to simulate a fence when they need one. not saying they are planning these things but just give them as illustrations of how technology could be used to overcome perceived deficiencies thing is we know so little of what they are planning, and i'd like to think they aren't totally stupid
  24. unless they have some other (new technology?) ideas we don't know about?
