why not just keep it simple and argue (correctly) that the impact was low. it's not that hard.
  2. i just hope dodoro stays as their recruiting guru, brad scott as their coach, sheedy on their board, and that their coterie mob keep interfering, for ever and ever. what bliss that would be.

i thought he could have too. but it would have involved him trying to punch the ball with his injured hand at the same time as being collected by big fogarty. it wouldn't have been pretty and he could have really messed up his bad hand (at least). if it was final i'm sure he would have. as it was i was relieved, can't afford to lose him at the moment.

we all know pickett needs to curb his aggression. no argument but the question is, in this case was pickett's impact low or medium (as mro claim) if low - fine, if medium 1 week. it was obviously low. These aren't my rules, they are afl's. and this is the reason we must appeal.

well if that was classified as medium impact i'd like to see an example of what low impact would be. this is just wrong classification, and on this basis must be appealed. regardless of whatever punishment anyone personally thinks, the afl has a standard set of definitions and corresponding punishments. they can't just deviate from that on a whim or a wish have some b*lls, mfc and support your player's rights to procedural fairness

    game over already
  9. thought our skills were a bit down last night but not our endeavour. then i realised it was our 3rd game in just 11 days with 2 being interstate. i'll take that any day, and the 3 wins.
  10. should have won by 6 goals .... culture problem?
  11. goes nicely with fritters moty the previous week
  12. definitely due for a booster
  13. mild covid?
  14. the other big difference (and an improvement) is the coaches votes involve 10 separate votes vs the brownlow's only 3
  15. crows won't have got too much of an advantage. one more day for them, but they had the long flight before and after their game which would have cut into that extra day plus crows got 2 injuries to mllera and murphy - both knee injuries
  16. maybe the geelong flyer - aka bobby davis? can't remember too much except those iconic photos

i don't think the board rules are that restrictive in this case fire away. i'm very curious what objections local caullfieldians could have

of course it doesn't technically but it would stop concerts or t20 games being cancelled or ruined it would also attract better attendances to all events in winter it would make it potentially available to more events you'd never otherwise consider

done differently? attempted the mark or attempted to punch the ball or spoil. both, very viable in this case. a great example is tracc's spoil in last qtr. didn't even touch the player, but then tracc wasn't intent on making the other player "earn his kick". wright knew the other player was vulnerable and had a duty of care

i think you overrate the international cricket argument. most profitable cricket is t20 and roof is no problem and in fact a benefit. odi and test cricket attendances are dropping alarmingly and the chances of a test match(s) in tassie are low, as is true for international odi
  25. i had a fracture (heel) when i was 18. only found out 20 years later when i had a foot xray which showed a healed fracture.
