  1. petterd? jones?
  2. Re you serious?
  3. Which is why I thought they were going to play him forward.
  4. Your fascination with this RR chap borders on neurosis
  5. We're not
  6. Actually I've always seen Bailey as an interim coach. Last year made me think that perhaps he had it but I just really don't want the window to close without the cup
  7. Didn't realise the previous thread wabout The Boss was about the coach. Please merge these threads
  8. Does the club intend chasing a big name proven coach such as Roos or Malthouse? I have nothing against Bailey and think he's done a superb job getting the list together. However the next few years are seriously important in turning pimply kids into seasoned warriors who can win this club a flag. On talent we have a list better than Collingwood's. Are we as well coached? I don't know but I doubt it. This club has made all the right moves over the last 3 years and must continue to do so. I'm hoping the review processes so evident thus far are continuing and we are leaving no stone unturned in our pursuit of excellence. If we can't win a Premiership with this list then we're farked. I don't want to be the next St. Kilda, watching the window close without the silverware.
  9. I agree I was just stating that he isn't that big and in 4 or 5 years Cook will weigh 102kg and be 196 tall.
  10. You bet I booed him but then again I booed Woewodin. (All tongue in cheek)
  11. 191cm he's not that big.
  12. Play Wonaeamirri and Davey forward for 2 weeks and show the others how it's done.
  13. Watts to Franklin Frawley to FF and stay there even when the rest are running up field. Green in the middle. Bennell to Rioli Jurrah to the bench Sylvia to Hodge Bail to Sewell
  14. After a VFL player.
  15. He's a good player and a stand in captain. No offence to Brad but one of Scully, Trengove, Viney, or Grimes is the next actual Captain.
  16. I'm surprised no one has criticized Jurrah. His was a very, very poor game. Flying from behind might be fun but it doesn't win games. Needs to start in front and learn to take a few hits. It never hurts as much as you think.
  17. Paul Roos can shove it up his arse. Miller had no place in an AFL team, big body or not, Nick Smith anyone! We're developing youth and it takes time. The club is actually fast tracking the process by cutting the likes of Miller, Bruce and McDonald. That's 3 young guys playing upto 22 games this year. If Roos can't see that then he should stay on TV. The thing about Roos is he saw it differently. He successfully topped up with mature bodies, we've taken a different route but the end result should be the same.
  18. in time the following will come in and make us a much better team: Morton, Wonaeamirri, Scully, Mckenzie, Blease, Gysberts. No need to panic, the future is bright....if they sign Scully.
  19. I'll sit you down in public and get 500 people to ask you the same question and see how long you smile for....idiot
  20. It's also hard to be tough when you wear a pink jumper.
  21. namby pamby my arse. The games tougher physically and mentally than it's ever been. Just because players don't go around king hitting each other means little. Sit on the boundary line and watch, listen and feel how hard the players hit, how fast the game is and how switched on you need to be to play it.
  22. More importantly can we win the Premiership in 2014,15 and 16. I hope we can because I'll be well out of patience by then.
  23. I'm changing my changes. I'm going to play the same side, make Bennell the sub, play Maric and Jetta on the ball. Play Watts deep forward and tell the midfielders to kick it to him all day. With Morton, Wonaeamirri and Scully all due back soon give the spots to those who perform this week.
  24. i'm not questioning his talent, never have. However I watch him closely most games and I don't like all of what I see. It was a good mark but it's the only contested mark he's taken at AFL level. Sure his first half was pretty good but what I want to see is him playing like he really wants the ball. When that happens, which I'm confident it will, you will see him demanding it from those upfield. In my opinion the reason his leads are often ignored is they are half arsed. I want to see him roar like a lion not meow like a [censored] cat. He must stay in the team. Personally in the last quarter yesterday I would of put him on Buddy and said don't let him beat you to the ball.
  25. Grimes to the midfield. Morton and Tapscott at half back, Scully, Trengove, Gysberts, Mckenzie, Grimes in the midfield, Blease, Davey on the wings, Bennell as super sub, Wonaeamirri, Sylvia as half forwards, Cook(when he;s ready), Watts, Jurrah as marking forwards, 2 more years experience. Lose Scully and we could be farked.
