If he left and we got a top 2 pick and one of their best players under 23 would it affect our prospects?

Chris Connolly, he took the fall unjustly after the stool pigeon Mclean dobbed him in.
Would bring a lot of experience and his fondness for the club remains unquestioned.
You've got to be kidding.

I think between Hunt, Salem, Stretch and the likes of Brayshaw and Petracca we may have outside run covered

Personally i think between TMac, Omac and Frost we have a stronger enough backiline in 2 to 3 years time. The club rate OMac very highly

We were beaten by a side who'e best is better than ours. No need to slash wrists. i still think we have more upside than the saints. Hats off, they played great footy today.

I'd imagine Max King would stay. It took Jamar and Gawn many years to find AFL form. I don't see treating him differently as good planning

[censored] Frost was next to invisible inthe first half! Pederson has too many strings to Bow !~ If atall goes out it must be Frost!
I just think the club wants to get game time into him. Pedersen would be stiff to be dropped I realise that

The commentary was fine. It's always more exciting when a team comes back into the match. Ducking at shadows here

OUT Brayshaw, Pedersen
IN Petracca, Oliver

I think he acknowledges it in his comments here post match.
“A lot of my possessions didn’t come off today, but we followed up and that’s why I love it. It puts you in the contest, makes it exciting and we end up scoring.”
Righto mate... Never said he had poor skills just his not elite by foot.. Yet
All the best players talk like that.

Viney is a dead set beast... Never seen a Melbourne player attack the footy like he does. He is a bull at a gate. Fast becoming my favorite player.. He'll never have the sublime skills of an elite midfielder but he knows this and plays within his limitations... I knew he'd take the next step this year, quickly becoming an A grader. Love how he flies the flag, last week when Toovey pushed Tyson into the post he was first in their. Absolutely love jack, one player you'd want to go to war with!
Actually his skills are really good and only getting better.
I think you're the only one mentioning limitations. I don't see any and I bet you nor does he.
You think like a loser, not uncommon for a Melbourne fan

Good get, Willett. Lucky for you Speith tightened up.
Anxiety at it's optimum. If we haven't the faintest what's going on thanks to their cards being close to their chest. Over at Tigger Land they're pulling their hair out looking for an advantage, deep down knowing selecting Deledio comes at a risk. It's a long season.......If I were Dimma, unless I was 100% confident, I wouldn't be selecting him.
Not feeling any anxiety. My man told me what he told me and it once again proved to be correct. I've always believed we'll win and still do

Will play? But it's touch and go?

My man says he's fine but the club is playing all injuries cautiously, I guess because we have depth to cover atm

Having a near full list to chose from is enormously advantageous. Especially given the number of injuries and underdone players Richmond have.
I also believe our list is ahead of theirs in terms of talent now and really we should win comfortably as long as we bring the same intensity as we did last weekend.
I would love nothing more than for this game to be a statement game for our club.
I can't remember the last time we've beaten up on a big Melbourne based club at the G. We're pretty close to playing four quarters of hard-nosed and skilled football.
Always hard to feel confident with Melbourne, but at some point we'll see a switch flick with this group and we won't look back.
May this be the game.

At the time I don't feel I was totally dramatising. They thoroughly deserve the blowtorch at that point, because as it has shown, if there is little effort and poor execution in this comp applied, teams will take you to the cleaners.
Removing the Essendon game, our form is now stacking up, very well I would say.
Which makes the Essendon game all the more disappointing.
That said, they were with Geelong for a large portion of their game....
You were right about the North game - reason? We applied effort, will and belief for the majority of that game. And one mighty effort from both Gawn and Viney.
People were dramatising. Our form is going to be up and down. It's just what young teams are like
