  1. Heard today that he had tried to pee for 4 hours... but no luck and decided out of frustration to poor his energy drink into the sample cup!!! Obviously he has a super bladder, but why didn't he start drinking water after a few hours to get things moving. Basically he's screwed.

Get Daisy into the box, so much better.

Amazed how danger does little for 3qtr but lifts in the last. Why doesn't he do it earlier?

Umps favouring methcoke, not paying the same to the cats

Rather see Meth coke go out, being in Perth I dislike the worship of the team.
  6. I have always liked Seedsman, but I think they need him more than a late pick.
  7. One solid hit is all it takes. Have a mate playing ammo's with us, (mid 25yrs old, fit), had a huge collision and head knock. Even slight bumping/positioning now and he get headaches. Can't play footy at all anymore, that was from one hit. Whether genetics have a role it I have no idea,

Freo does that st their home ground when they kick a goal.

Weagles are a protected species in Perth. Pretty much everyone in the footy community over here knew what they were doing. But I feel that because they were winning the club administration didn't care and the AFL didn't go their job right. Unfortunately the consequences of that neglect is still be played out by the players.

Not in a decade, the year before tiger premiership when they got rid of every assistant and started again.
  11. Why would the club consider trading him, no benefit. He’s contracted and he should continue to play for us. Look at Kelly at Geelong this year, wanted to go home, had a great year. We need to be firm with young players and back them in for our team, success brings bonds that hang onto good players until maybe their twilight years.
  12. Pretty much sums up the whole statement. He said enough of nothing so others will create imaginary links.
  13. Haven’t seen it for a few years. Just switched it on before 3qtr time. Where is there crowd? And why are they playing like geriatrics, they can barely move. Looks like a few old guys having a kick to kick with no enthusiasm, then look at the score, wtf!!
  14. They need a change of culture with experienced players in the model of Hodge, Lewis etc coming from successful clubs. While this might not lead to wins in the short term, it will build stability and set a foundation. This is what happened for us (Twice Barassi and Roos), Sydney in the 90's, Lion's very recently. They should be made to trade at least one for role model players and those payments are outside cap for those in their late 20s to encourage them to go up there.
  15. Fatigue and lack of confidence. Yeah he hasn't been his usual self the last few weeks.
  16. Great game at the G...
  17. Very true as they may have never needed to struggle to become a great player. But that vision of him coaching the oppo backman in that VFL stands out for me.

He has not had a successful period. Need to get in a smart experienced operator like a "Neil Balme" who rebuilt Cats and Pies.
  19. Yes, though being a interstate family membership I think I don't shell out as much in $$$ Plus the packs keep my kids interested to an extent.

In one post people demand persistence and desire to die for the jumper. The bets example of that is Viney and people want to trade him. Love watching Viney play, yes he's been injured and not properly prepared for the season like many players. I expect him to bounce back after two injury interrupted years. He's not a silky player nor should he try to be. As for his eloquence in language not all great captains have been. It is dedication, desire and blood for the club which elevates him as someone to follow, as we lack that from many of our players. Looking forward to a better 2020 from Jack.

Pretty sums it up.. Nothing he said today was wrong about our team.
  22. Couple of games left, no results matter, see what some kids can do... Out: everyone with the slightest niggle to get ready for a full preseason...
  23. Talent alone does not make a successful team.... GWS conclusively proved that. Teams need to be developed and the right culture put in place.
  24. Apparently a huge range of options are on the discussion board. The one with the most support is them taking experienced players in the Hodge model outside or most outside the salary cap to build the culture of the club in a playing.coaching role. They do not need young talent yet. They have lots of talent, just no direction. You can see some improvements in their games this year but currently don't have the experience or maturity to close them out.

Brad hill has asked for a trade back to victoria for his wife (she's from Vic). Announced by Lyon on the news. Jenkins is a spud, who is huge but has no presence on the field and not what we are after.
