Looking forward to a good close game that the swans win, then suddenly its reported that the cats had gastro last night :)
  3. "some of the claims" is not really a helpful statement, it just raises more questions on what statements they can back up? WC have announced a review as well. I think it will be come a industry wide review. But I believe it should be expanded to all players to determine whether it was toward a specific group or aimed at all in their or other club cultures. I still find it strange within a tight club environment that hawthorn must have had at the time, nothing has leaked before or other players heard/said anything. As players talk to each other. Surely a player having gone through that experience would talk about it with a teammate at some point, even to ask if it had happened to other players?
  4. Looking at our draw now that we have seen the form of teams, its not has hard as we would have predicted, assuming they don't turn their form around. I agree we need to fix up our goal kicking after 1/4 time.
  5. Because the majority of modern writers/showrunners are [censored], they can't write well developed characters or sensible plots or the logical /decisions actions their characters would take if they were consistent. He bright coloured hover bikes were shocking, and what a bad [censored] gang they were...not. Haven't started Andor yet, been burnt a few times to rush to it.
  6. But did they expect to find this?
  7. Wowee, what a read. While it was an indigenous investigation in the terms of reference by the club, I think a new more in-depth investigation that will focus on all players of the period as I am curious whether the behaviour targeted at certain groups or was the widespread culture of the club? I wonder how many workplace and racial descrimination laws were broken in these actions. However, a proper due process investigation is needed before we'll know exactly what happened. **Was it deliberately released on GF week to try and hide it or just when it was completed.
  8. I was going to post something, but decided not too. Maybe it's time to close this thread as its not longer a footy discussion.
  9. They don't anymore, watch games when guys roll ankles, they have no strapping when getting seen to initially, then get strapped. Maybe there is some modern physiotherapy reason for it, but they just don't seem to anymore. Maybe someone can ask next time at training.
  10. It'll be more fun if there was a wildcard round to get into finals. for teams outside, though that would require a rejigging of the finals format.
  11. Unless they send all the teams to a ground no one ever plays one, someone will get a home ground advantage. Unless it rotates every year?
  12. I don't know why he (and other players) dont strap them pregame instead of during if injured? Or are they just re-strapping?

According to on the couch tonight by Ralph, Grundy has nominated us as his only destination. That gives us more power in getting more of his salary covered but he pies. Better to organise that swap before any Jackson deals :)
  14. It was a typical stuff up by the AFL. The first AFLW game observed the minute of silence, then it was scrapped. I don't agree with the position that the AFL took in not acknowledging a queen, that was a good monarch (overall) in terms of being progressive. Given that indigenous round runs for two weeks, the second weekend that would have been no other focus. But I don't get paid the big bucks. Unfortunately Australians don't really understand the role of the queen or queen in English and our democracy. She follows the advice of the government of the day, it has been this was since the little thing called the English Civil War, they no longer dictate government direction in an shape of form officially. that is not to say in private she agreed with the government, she gave console on what should be the best course of action in weekly meetings, but in the end the elected government made decisions on what they thought was best. Best example is our GG giving scomo half the govenrment :)

Freo Bradshaw didn't have the best finish o the season. Neale as pointed out ha no competition in the midfield, its him and daylight at the lions. Oliver still may, he had a great finish to the season, even in our losses.
