he is clean , good skills, quick and great mark for his size. He can definitely develop into that dangerous forward with good defensive pressure type player we have been trying to develop with AVB, ANB , brayshaw and others who are not suited to that forward role.

I would call it a forearm with low impact. Cotchin deadset punched a guy in the face and was let off , we are due for some MRP love

out: Kent, Wagner In Melksham, Kennedy. Bugg lucky but at least he got himself into scoring positions. Kennedy deserves a go after consistent VFL form and has shown he can apply good tackling pressure unlike kent. Melksham for Wagner , can play same role down back but can also have runs in midfield or forward

big yes from me, big strong unit who uses the ball well. has good leadership qualities and most importantly a football brain. our three talls the maccas and frost all have at times horrible disposal and lack footy smarts.

Hogan was OK and gets a pass given the circumstances. But too many times he called for a teammate to kick long towards him while goal and he did not lead up. or forward set up is dysfunctional and entries even worse how many times do we get a mark/kick 80 meters out and player with ball hesitates allowing even more opposition players to flood back, then we bomb it in or kick sideways/backwards and end up turning it over . I get that most of the time the hesitation comes from no standout option but long kick to 1 vs 2 is better to what ends up being 1 v 4. Our forwards need to lead and learn what blocking is all about.

Me too nervous about this one. Hawthorn at the G are in my opinion a much tougher proposition than Freo and we know how that ended. They look good on paper and have a good team in paper with enough talent to click at anytime. Will be happy with a win of any kind
