We all need to support either Craig Drummond or Peter Allen for the next AFL chair, to limit Eddie's influence through Peter Gordon. Beginning around 2008-2009, Collingwood massively lobbied for control over Olympic Park, a site historically important for athletics but also valuable for a training ground close to Melbourne's sports precinct. Unfortunately we were asleep at the wheel and the Collingwood filth effectively took over the Olympic Park training facility from the MFC through backroom strategic negotiations, conflicts of interest (Eddie McGuire serving on the Athletics Australia board) and leveraging political influence. Our goal should be to take back what is rightfully and geographically more accurately "ours" and send collingwood back to collingwood where they came from. if Peter Gordon doesn't get up then we can have a real crack at Olympic Park. Watch out!
