He may have been wrong, but MFC Boards before and after him, got plenty wrong and I was on one of them, which against my vote and argument, sold our admin building in Jolimont Terrace, which today would be worth many millions of dollars. Ross Mitchell, a Real Estate agent and brother of 3AW Neil Mitchell and I were totally opposed to the sale, but were outvoted. A shocking mistake imo.

One of the hardest things to do for many people is to apologise. We all know people who are never wrong and will never admit to it, no matter what the proof. There are people who just can’t get the word “sorry” to come out of their mouth. It’s funny really, as I scream out “sorry” every time I come home, to cover me for whatever comes next.

But taller and slower. I can't get my head around this selection. It seems the FD must have no confidence in replacements for May or Lever from within the current list.

With $27m in the bank, from the sale of assets he pushed his Board to acquire and after stopping a merger and tipping in $2.7m of his own, the biggest single donation to the club ever. Show a bit of gratitude.

Was always a wrap for him and hope he makes it at North.

2 hours and 46 minutes too late with that reply. You should have replied to my post above yours.

I wonder if he will be assisting with the coaching in some way and this likely last year is the transition to that.

Me and that Sherpa certainly know if we are Tensing.
-
Has she already got handlebars?
-
Gee you are a trouble maker. I am tensing up at the thought of your destabilisation of DL.

Besides Kalani and his brothers and Noah Yze, are there any more F/S possibles in the next few years and how are they all tracking?
-
So is our list full now, or do we have another rookie spot?
-
Hore not taken as a Rookie. Not sure what our pick situation is with spots, but maybe we kept a Rookie spot for him later, or someone else in Supplemental Draft, Hard to keep up with all these different drafts.
-
Do you mean Montagna? He does resemble De Goey early on, in his play. Here's hoping.

Robbie was left handed, but a right foot kick and of course could do both on the opposite side brilliantly. It made him difficult to stop, because he would lean the way you weren't expecting and evade, or get off a kick or handball. If you watch replays of Robbie, you will see him lean into the handball and lean back with the kick. This kid is a little similar, but is quicker than Robbie was, which will help him in his career. If he is 25% the player Robbie was, we have a beauty.

Will be a Demon. Rookie spot guaranteed.
-
Yes he is on the Rookie list.
-
He was talking about predicting before they were picked.

Every stat and bio I have seen says 186 cms, but if you have more updated info, that is good and I hope you are correct.

They get the "GC need to win a flag soon" AFL exemption from the rule.

Fair enough, there might or might not have been a bluff, but Cats needed their pick, or the next one, if Bombers took Caddy, to ensure they got O'Sullivan. Therefore I don't think Cats were ever trading for any later pick. It was the next pick or nothing, knowing Bombers wanted Caddy. That is where the bluff came in imo. Anyway, I think we both agree that the Cats picked up 31 as a bonus, for still getting the player they obviously wanted, O'Sullivan.
-
Read my post again, you have got it completely wrong. I didn’t say Bombers trumped Cats for Caddy, I said Cats bluffed Bombers into giving them pick 31, for the player they weren’t taking anyway, with the pick before the Bombers.
-
Cats got 31 for nothing, swapping picks with Bombers, knowing they wanted Caddy, when Cats obviously wanted O’Sulliivan. Poor intel and card playing by Dodoro, who will no doubt gloat he got his player and won’t mention wasting 31.

I would love to know the background to WC attempts to get the Curtin pick from GWS. Also I wonder if getting Curtin may temper Crows efforts to get Petty. They now have Thilthorpe, Fogarty, Tex and Himmelberg with a few talls up back as well.

Well tbh he can’t really knock any player and the other guys always find something good to say about each draftee too. It is just a love fest. The better appraisals would come privately from other club’s recruiters.
