According to the Newshounds he is off to the Hawks and Swans will agree, as the Buddy and Tippett money is now squeezing their cap. He has apparently been offered less than he got this year, by the Swans.

Someone posted that we are trying to hide Max King, so we can re rookie him. You obviously think that is BS, that he is just not up to it. I haven't seen him play live and have only read about his performances. Last year he was seemingly on the improve, but this year has apparently seen him go backwards. I suppose we will know more after Casey finishes its season.

The Suns are great up forward and good up back. Their problem is now midfield. They will lose Prestia and O'Meara ( who hasn't played for 2 years granted ) have an ageing and injured Ablett and Rischitelli, a disinterested and injured Swallow and a couple of journeymen being delisted who have served their purpose. They do have some high picks however and if they can trade and draft well for mids, they could be up and running very quickly. You can build a team around a great key forward in Lynch, like GWS with Cameron. Hopefully we can do the same if our boy stays. But back to the Suns, if they get the middle right, they are right back into the contest.

Agree. JH, Weed and JW with Kent, Garlett, Petracca, VDB etc is a fairly handy forward line. Pedo is also around to help forward/ back or in the ruck. Then we can concentrate on improving the midfield inside and out, adding another key back and maybe another ruck/forward. It will be interesting to see if Hulett kicks on.

It could actually have another effect, suggesting to our second level mids, that we have no faith in them. Guys like ANB, JKH and Ben K should be told they need to step up and we will play them. Guys like Hunt, Salem, Kent, Billy and VDB should be given some time in the middle to try them out. It is harder to do if you bring in a NDS for one year. On the other hand, key forwards would love to see a NDS heading for them, with the ball in hand.

Do you think he will be the replacement 2nd ruck/forward? I am unsure with Max King and favour giving him another year, as we know these kids take a while. Even Fitzy is now playing for the Hawks, in the finals no less, after we released him and he is going ok, without dominating.

Clearly they needed success to get the team a following. The question is did they go too far in giving them all the concessions? Just as clearly they did. The massive amount of high picks are now setting the foundation for a great team, together with what they are getting back, for the boys who can't fit in their team, but walk into others. They are just adding more high end talent each year, with the picks other clubs are giving them and from their academies/zones priority. They won't come back to the field for another 10 years.

Has to get one game, as he ran past the ball and took Kennedy out with what I thought was an elbow to the head. It was intentional and high contact and at least medium impact. He will get at least a week.

Noticed that Miles finished 6th in Tiger's B & F. Hartlett not even in top 10 in Port B & F. Not saying we should get Miles, but he isn't the worst player around and will be a fraction of the Hartlett cost. Yes I know HH is a better player. Just think Miles could be good value.

This is obviously a very stressful and sad time for the family. Clearly his thoughts are with his family and not his footy at this time. Wish them all well in a difficult time. Can we now ask for those that want to knock Jesse, to just ease back and give him some space. Maybe those that attack his body language, might have a better understanding of what he is going through.

I think it's time we stop the poster attacking. Both sides need to accept we all have different views and as many have said, it is only a fan forum and accuracy of posting is not a requirement. We have gossip, rumours, allegations, inuendo, fantasy, etc. I find it tiresome wading through posts of people attacking each other on here. I have met Saty at training and he is a nice bloke, as I am sure are most of the rest of the posters. Saty is unusual in his posting style, but he is not Robinson Crusoe. Everyone needs to be a little less precious and not attack everything said, because you may not like the poster or their style. Lets all move on. We are all Dees fans.

My gut feel is that the club would prefer to move on Garland, as he has a two year contract left and Dunn offers more for a year or two.
