  1. That's not good.
  2. Ok we are less crappy than previously.
  3. I understand but we have improved. Our percentage is up by 50%. We have lost 7 games by under 23 points. We have lost 4 close games to Port and the Dogs which with some luck we should have won. We have not had our young gun FF all year. We lost our big brute FF before the season. We have had no input from JT through injury. We have improved.
  4. What gets me angry is that I wasn't angry at the loss. You could see it coming with our pathetic skill. When you miss set shots at goal from 10 metres out and several in play from within 10 metres and some within 5 metres and cannot handball accurately over 2 metres or pass over 20 metres you deserve to lose. There is only one solution, get rid of all the sub standard players and draft and trade for new ones, they can't be worse.
  5. I must admit that yesterday after the game I heard more angry Dees fans than ever before. Several were swearing and really upset. I actually think that is a good thing to see as we have always seemed to just take it. There was a lot of venom for Watts laconic efforts.
  6. Hang in, they will get better. Hogan, Salem, Toumpas, Grimes, Trengove, Cross and maybe Clark is better than McKenzie, Blease, Nicholson, Strauss, Tapscott, Bail, Terlich and Pedersen. Add to that some more new blood and we will improve.
  7. My son threw his scarf in the bin on the way out. He is really struggling to keep supporting this mob. He has been a fanatical Dee since old enough to crawl.
  8. Congrats to WJ on another grand child a lovely girl. Luckily she can still play for the Dees as clearly they allow girls to play for them.
  9. So you will be sitting with the Lions fans then.
  10. Fried banana sandwiches killed Elvis. I am going to have to review my diet.
  11. Haven't seen the game yet, but what is wrong with the Dockers?
  12. Sorry to talk footy here guys, but I heard Ian Prendergast the Player's CEO, on radio this morning say, that Free Agency was needed and was good as how else would players get to the better clubs so that they could play in finals. I thought that was a pretty pathetic comment, but at least honest and shows the real agenda behind FA. Free Agency has nothing to do with equalisation, it is solely about players leaving the weaker clubs for the stronger ones. It will help to destroy the game.
  13. As I posted months ago after speaking to PJ, Roos has agreed to a third year as Coach. The building blocks of our revival are being put in place.
  14. They are a funny side the Crows. They have a lot of dumpy looking Collingwood 6 footers but get the job done.
  15. Your imagination is too limited.
  16. You can amend quickly to moderately fast.
  17. Purely and simply we have absolutely stuffed up our recruiting over the last several years. Last year under a new Coach and Recruiting Officer looks more promising and w have to hope that they get every pick and trade right from now on.It can turn around very quickly though as we have seen with our undermanned side improving dramatically defensively in just one year. Add Hogan and with improvement in Salem, Toumpas, JKH, Kent, Tyson, Riley etc and with a few more good picks and trades we can turn it around quickly.
  18. Suns were terrible yesterday, it can't just be Ablett missing.
  19. No argument from me.
  20. Speaking of lunch I just had a great banana cinnamon smoothie. Feeling rather full. Might have to get up from the couch and take a long walk around the lounge room.
  21. Why not?
  22. Remember players don't tank. The players made mistakes nearly as many as the umpires. I have now seen 3 incidents replayed, which as agreed by Bob Murphy and Jordan Lewis on AFL360, which all went against us and cost goals or denied us shots from close in and there were more I am told.
  23. Are GWS tanking? 6 players including Cameron ruled out for the rest of the year.
  24. Pity only a few rounds left.
  25. Had a good time. At the airport hope to be back in Oz early Wednesday morning. Back in time for the bye.
