  1. I am but I just like Malibu.
  2. Ok thanks for the link.
  3. I said Mitchell may be ok with going. I accept that he is delirious with excitement. My post was that HAWTHORN INITIATED the discussion. That would lead to him not being a one club player, something others like Jesse have mentioned they wanted and may affect the culture of the club. What facts did I get wrong?
  4. Let's not let facts get in the way of your assertion that I got it wrong. Discussing it some time ago doesn't change who initiated it. The word initiate means start. Didn't Mitchell say Clarko came to his house and suggested the idea. If your answer is yes, I will take that as your apology for saying I got it wrong. This was Hawthorns idea not Mitchell's. He is happy to go along with it or stay.
  5. I will mate, but just for the record is there anything in my post, that the interview indicated was incorrect.
  6. No way those two are getting $800k-$1m. It would be much more. GC offered o'meara over $800k for 4 years. Mitchell is leaving for more money.
  7. No I didn't, but have since read his comments. He seems ok with going, but I stand by my post. He didn't initiate this and no matter how you dress it up one of the greatest Hawks of all time, who is contracted for one more year, is being asked to leave and play at another club. There is absolutely no doubt that he could have got an assistant coaching role at numerous clubs after he finishes playing.
  8. The guy is 33, has just won his 5th B & F and they ask him to give up being a one club player and help them out by playing with WC for a year or 2. Clearly they won't get much for him from WC, other than salary cap space. I think this is the sort of thing that will spread the cracks in Hawthorn's culture. It's a terrible thing to do to Mitchell and deprives him of being a one club player and playing more games for his club, not to mention uprooting the family.
  9. Saints seem to be after about 10 players each year.
  10. We did. Tyson and Salem say hello.
  11. If Setterfield and Bowes are not as good as McLuggage and McGrath, it won't happen. GC or GWS would let Bombers take one and they would then see one of the Mc's fall to them. With pick 3 GWS are in the box seat. Only problem is they want McGrath and Bombers or Lions could stop that party,
  12. Petracca heard you and will contribute more goals next year.
  13. And hopefully we are not lunatics ( anymore ).
  14. With only probably the Hawks able to survive the flak if it backfired.
  15. Campbell re signed, Griffiths staying with Ty gone and Vardy is looking west.
  16. So to summarize, if we don't understand, we don't understand.
  17. I have a headache. How do you think of all that?
  18. I find it stunning that GWS who knocked back 2 first round picks from Freo last year for McCarthy, look like accepting pick 3 while giving back picks 7 & 32. Freo must be in hysterics.
  19. We didn't, it came from Essendon.
  20. And he did it so well.
  21. My info was that the deal was done for our 2nd rounder this year. If that is true, we have reneged if we are offering next years'. Maybe we are feeling a bit miffed that Melksham got banned and that we over paid. Maybe it will still be this years' 2nd round but with a later pick back to us. Still think it will be done soon.
  22. Some of the comments on Vickery are far closer to hating than rating.
  23. Clearly the AFL have got it right on equalization, as can be seen once again, by where players want to go. Geelong, Hawthorn, Adelaide, Collingwood are 4 of the leading destinations for players. We need these struggling clubs to survive and AFL head office has got it right.
  24. Surely if we really wanted this guy, we would have Irish contacts who could talk to him. For starters the Stynes family, would be a great port of call.
